Embarrassment and Humiliation: The Story of REVA Shayne

Where can I begin? REVA was a startling spectacle from beginning to end. Here is a list of her "accomplishments" achieved in one hour:

- Kidnapped, not "borrowed," an innocent child from her hysterically bereaved mother
- Confessed to the crime
- Made more threats to everyone Olivia loves (there are only two people in this equation: Olivia and Emma. We need a restraining order!)
- Rudely dismisses the victim of her crime (child abduction) from her home
- Breaks the deal that she and Olivia agreed to by going with Jeffrey to the wedding. "Nothing's changed..." Olivia warns with that lovely arched eyebrow.
- Shamefully slanders and defames the bride on her wedding day
- Knocking back champagne flutes like Tictacs. Champagne is a delicate beverage, not whiskey, REVA. She was all a-belchin', a-burpin', and a-stumblin' around with no self-control.
- Shamelessly interrupts the ceremony several times and of course at important moments. Breaking glasses, making raucous noise and being a total disaster.
- Getting stinkin' drunk and being a complete storm cloud on a beautiful day for her fragile loony sister.
- Ruining Cassie's wedding and probably invalidating the entire service with her final stunt, which was....
- ...stumbling into oncoming traffic like a drunken rube and getting herself hit by an innocent Olivia's vehicle.

Do you REVAlites condone all of these terrible activities?
I was completely and totally ashamed that I watched the series. I had my hand over my eyes the entire time.

Are these the antics that make you guys dance in the streets?

BWAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!

LOL,LOL, ROF-LOL, I didn't think it could be done...but you have done it!!!!! Such a colorful character is Reva. You have allowed me to love her even more than I did before. I know this is not the response you want..but it is the one you get...YOU have made yesterdays doom & gloom go up in smoke for me...You, inadvertly, gave me what I was asking for yesterday...hope. Now I see how unique and different Reva is and I like it. Thank you!!!

Then you really do appreciate my love for Olivia.

Those actions yesterday weren't "colorful," they were cataclysmic in right-thinking society.

The operative phrase is "right-stinking society". but YES, I do understand and appreciate your love for Olivia. It is endearing and enduring...the same as mine is for Reva... so we are bound to clash in the future...and when we do...just remember I don't have to agree with you in order to love you and respect your position and take on s/l's.

I would say it is Tit for Tat between those two! But I Love Reva! She will do the things I wish I had the guts to do!

To be fair I just wanted to state some of Olivia's past crimes against Reva:
-Kept quiet about Edmund Winslow's plot to kill Reva Shayne

-Lied to an injured Josh Lewis that his ex-wife, Reva, hadn't visited him

-Listened into a private phone conversation between Reva and Cassie

-Almost destroyed portrait of Regina Robechaux, which would have stranded Reva and Josh in 1940's Paris, France.
(This was a dumb story, IMO)

-Paid Edmund Winslow to sabotage Reva and Josh's wedding reception by sabotaging the lights at the Beacon

And these are some of the worst crimes she's ever committed:

~Lied to Alan that she had had a miscarriage

~Spiked Alan's champagne with a sleeping pill

~Lied about her baby being dead

~Injured herself and then lied that Phillip Spaulding had
attacked her

~Falsely accused Beth Raines of abducting Emma

~Held Gus Aitoro captive in the Spaulding mansion basement Alan released Gus)

~Secretly slipped alcohol into Billy's drink

~Nearly pushed Ava Peralta over a balconey during an argument

~While drunk, nearly ran down Ava with her car

~Hired a hit man to kill Ava

~Lured Ava to the Spaulding garage in an effort to get her killed

~To get Jeffrey's attention, paid a man to mug their daughter
...and so on

Both Oliva AND Reva have done some terrible things, and I LOVE them both. I really don't see one character being worst (morally wise) than the other.

She didn't stumble into oncoming traffic she threw herself into Olivia's windshield in order to gain the upperhand. Score another point for Reva.
(Dropping the champagne glass was kind of funny)
