REVA's the one who glorifies alcohol. There's "always" a shot of tequila or bourbon that she's scarfing down. He tries to leave alcohol behind while she reeks of fermentation. |

Oh please Billy was a drunk long before Cassie even came to s/f !! |

Billy has been a drunk for years!!Reva is not the one that turned him into a drunk. |

REVA didn't make him a drunk (probably). Billy noticed that something was acutely wrong with her, which caused him to dig deeper to find out the problem (breast cancer). But REVA is sooo busy in the midst of this star-crossed union with JeffreyO'Neill that she has no time to return the favor. Billy is crying out for help and being ignored because of her infatuation with the manhore of SF. |

There could be numerous reasons why Billy turns to alcohol, but he is responsible for his own actions. I like Billy and want him to overcome this serious addiction, but he can't let problems/issues/situations dictate how he's going to react. Most addicts don't feel they can deal, so they turn to whatever makes them feel relieved. Anywho, IMO, Billy has a problem and he's choosing not to face whatever it is properly. Instead, he drinks. |

WHY shouldn't she be self involved? This arguement makes NO sense. Don't say that his BROTHER flesh and blood should be looking out for him- NO blame REVA!!! Why can't he look after himself again? |

Billy is a big boy.Should he not rescue himself ? Reva has her on life to deal with,if Billy would ask Reva for help i'm sure she would help him just like she has in the past. |

Then they need to hash this out. Billy never understood why REVA can't (won't?) return his obvious affection for her. I understand that she doesn't want to marry Josh's brother now. That didn't stop her before. Now she's worried about propriety. |

"Jeffrey is hard to walk away from."  Talk about careless, thoughtless, cavalier and casual! Yes, you just described our queen, Reva. That is you your opinion. We love her because she can't be with the one she loves, so be with the one that makes you feel good, and will give her the attention she neeeds at this moment in her life. Ouch, those wer fighing words about our queen! Round 20 and counting!!!

If i was a drinking man i sure would not turn to Josh for help,Glad i'm a lady,but anyhoo Billy has to help himself first before anyone else can help him. |
