Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Yesterday's preview gave me a kick in the gut. To see Billy drinking again saddened me to no end. I guess that's a testament to how long and how invested in these characters I am. Billy is one of my favorites because he sees right through Olivia. (When Billy does it, it's fine with me, but when REVA gets all holier-than-thou... .) Their conversation last Weds was a quick delight to me.

I'm hoping that today's episode is a dream, but I know that he's off the wagon again. This is such a shame. I can't wait to get home so that I can see what's truly happening.

Billy is one of my favorites, also. I think he has the best heart.
I do like the fact that the s/l has him drinking again, just because it emphasizes the fact that this is an addiction, and it's a lifetime battle.
Billy deserves a woman that appreciates his goodness - maybe that would help him battle his addiction - getting something on his mind besides alcohol.

Anyway Can you blam the poor man? He was with Reva through her whole cancer battle. Now that is done she barely talks to him. She just drops the man like a sack of dirt. Then all this with Dylan. He is all alone. I hope they have some interaction between him and Vanessa soon.

I saw that preview. And?

He let REVA lean on him, then she dumped him like she would in a toilet bowl. I wonder what exactly is driving him back to the bottle?

I think he is upset Reva is with Jeffrey! It is like a slap in the face after all he did for her.

Jeffrey just swooped in with a "free sex" from REVA.

Well I think it is great that they will have a show focused on Billy.

Billy will team up with someone for a new S/L and it's going to be fun. Wont tell you who, but if you watch today you'll find out. Cant wait.

I hate the fact that Billy is drinking again, although since he has always been one of my favorite characters it is nice to see him actually bring something to the show again. He is definitely underutilized.

We all love Billy, don't we? Billy is an alcoholic, and I think the writers have kept him clean too long. If this behavior brings him back to the fold, let it be. Billy, just might get Vannessa to help him through this rehab.. this time. That would be a good thing. They belong to each other, always have like this pairing.
