New to this show, though my mom used to watch it faithfully. Can some one please fill me in on what broke up Josh and Reva's last shot at marriage? I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance.

Reva found out she had cancer. Josh was working on his veteran's hospital, and Reva knew if he found out she had cancer, he would drop his project to be with her.

She sneaked around and lied to him and never told him anything, so he thought she had lost interest in him. Also, she led him to believe that she and Billy were having a thing.

He finally gave up on her.

It was the saddest s/l I've seen in a long, long time.

her SISTER CASSIE broke up their marrige!!!!!!! but other than that what phyllist said was right on the money...just add that cassie stole josh away from her cancer battaling DIEING SISTER and still feels NO REMORSE FOR IT!!!!!!

Cassie so DID NOT break up the JEVA marriage. REVA gave her husband to Cassie, as if he were a spare umbrella. They resisted the attraction for months. I wish that this sick falsehood would die a quick death.

All three are to blame when it comes right down to it,Why must it always be Cassie's fault,Did Cassie hold a gun to Josh's head???? He is a man right? He can think for himself.

I guess REVA forgot those vows (again). You know, "in sickness and in health."

I can understand that she'd constantly forget; she keeps forgetting which marriage that she's in.
