Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I used to like Ava, but she is now pulling the same tricks that Lizzie used, to try and keep Coop, Ava is definately turning into her mother.

I don't know what to think of this trio. Ava drives me nuts! I don't think my three kids combined whine as much as she does. And I like Ashlee, but I don't think Coop is the right person for her. He seems to be struggling with his feelings and she doesn't deserve that either. I going with the wait and see approach on those two.

Coop and Ashlee are such a perfect match and Ava is...well, like Mother like daughter.
Ashlee is no dummy, and she is on top of Ava's devious ploys to pull Coop closer. Coop will wake up and smell the roses unless.....
Ava takes advantage of the moment, pulls him between the sheets and wham bam, guess who is pregnant?
If I was the writer of the show, that's the route that I would take....actually, isn't that what "Soaps" are made of...?
So Ashlee better get him between the sheets before Ava does...sometimes the nice girl doesn't work, in Soapville!

I just saw a message board where they were insulting ashley. lizzies fit got tammy killed, and ava had to fix it so coop with be around her again, what extremes! him and ashley are great together and have a close friendship, that will make it work. they are always there for eachother, and he knows it! mayby theyll go away togeather, and she will come back skinny, and people will give her a chance.

I never thought the day would come but I REALLY like what and who the character of Ashlee has evolved into. I loved the fact that she did not cry when Coop chose Ava over her. And I LOVED LOVED LOVED when she strutted down Main Street with the other guy. Now that is what I am talking about. Make Ashlee as desirable and confident as all the other characters. But I have a feeling in the end she will win Coop.

I'm just not into this trio. Both Ava and Ashlee bother me for different reasons. Ava is deceitful and Ashlee..well she has a tendancy to over-act. She stumbles on her lines and seems to forget what she's supposed to say at times. Maybe it's me, but she looks likes she tries too hard. Coop is like a scarecrow - Seems to have no brain. This s/l just bores me - I fastforward.

Why would anyone want to keep Coop? I mean, hunh?!

I just want to say that Ashley did a wonderful job standing up for herself and putting Coop in his place. Go Ashley!

I think Coop needs a mature person that put Ashley out! I wish her character did not laugh soooo much!!! Ava is dishonest and dumped him for Alan Michael, so that put Ava out! I would like to see a new character for Coop!

I totally agree too. It's really nice to see a soap have characters who are not the perfect weight have a normal relationship. All Coop has to do is look more closely at Ava's mother, and he'll see what Ava will and is turning into. What did Olivia say today..."I apologise Reva...I am a coniving bi--h." So is Ava. Afraid to leave the room...give me a break.
