Quote Delonjo: He needs time to be a "starving artist." Because he is the real deal, not a telegenic tart.

Being a "starving artist" doesn't pay the bills, does it? A bird in the hand is better then one in a bush. Money talks. The fans are talking too. He does have an ego, doesn't he, and actors like the attention.

I agree, Mary. I want him to return, even after I suggested that he stay away. But he can't just come back for a day or two every few months. That will kill us fans! These teases are beyond painful. Starving does not pay the bills, though.

Well, after Matt posted the salary range for soap stars, I would HOPE that Tom would have saved a lot of that money to live off of.

Seeing him this week was wonderful. I actually got excited for these episodes, which is something I haven't been able to do this past month or so. Not to mention he looked gorgeous with his new haircut. Even my mom, who only watches every once in a while, saw him and said JONATHAN's BACK??!!!

It's not so much after you pay your manager and agent each 10%. Then taxes. And living in NYC is no cheap affair.

Speaking of his hair cut, I saw a backstage clip of an interview with Kim Zimmer. They were asking her about Tom being back. She was saying how much she loves it BUT she said that he came back with this "
awful hair cut! It looks like he is wearing a wig or something
!" Then, I noticed that when they had their first scene together in the stairwell, Reva said something about his hair and they both cracked up.

I think he's hair is cute.. he looks boyish and fresh
He kinda looked haggard at the end (the wedding episode)

You are so much more articulate than me, D. You're right, I think he will be a success anywhere he goes.
His "big break" will come, whether on stage, TV, or big screen.

He's much too talented not to succeed.

I miss Tom already too....he brings out emotions in me that I forgot I had. Another sad good bye % Seems Gl is just teasing us by having Tom on a few days. Even though I want Tom back all the time ....I guess I will settle for a scene here and there with him in it. I will take what I can get. He is sooo HOT...

Quote Delonjo: I'd throw the $$$$$$ and perks at him faster than REVA can pick up a bottle of Malt Duck! Give him any and everything that he desires. I'm absolutely certain that the ratings for this week will will go up at least a half point over last week.

So true, I would return to GL if he came back, I think I could watch him read the newspaper! And I am not just referring to his good looks!

He has earned each and every accolade that's been given to him since his debut. He never had a "green" moment where you'd see his inexperience. He began with the show running full-steam-ahead on his first day, lurking around Company staring at Tammy. (Remember JB?)

Throw him the moon and the stars. Heck...cut someone else's salary and give TP the difference. GL needs him. We need him!

In a way, I'm glad that he's out stretching his wings in the "real world," but he is a once-in-a-lifetime talent. I wish him the best with whatever he does. I just wish that he'd come home to GL.

It looks like he got the same hair cut as Tom Cruise for that Nazi movie.

A Caesar cut. Very Brad Pitt during his filming of "Troy."

I always hated his long hair.
