REVA kidnapped a baby, and then drugged and kidnapped the mother and had her mutilated at the behest of her arsonist son. Wrong on each and every level! If Olivia kidnapped a baby--any baby!--and falsified its death--any falsification!--Olivia wouldn't get even close to the same treatment. Also, why can Crazy Jonathan steal and raise a baby while Lizzie consistently and continually is demonized for a mistake? I remember Jonathan committing several arsons and actually trying to kill REVA, but that's all forgotten and forgiven. Why? Holy REVA continues to get a pass.

Olivia was seriously crushing on Jeffrey before a drunken REVA came along shaking her shimmy and promising "no strings attached."

Olivia is a woman who does not know how to go after what she truly wants. She is invested in being a victim. She is too ashamed to let Jeffery knows she loves him because she claimed he raped her. How would she justify being with a man she claim to hate who raped her so viciously as she relays. Because she has told the story and hold it to her as a rod of victimization she cannot then take it back, she is too afraid to because then she would have to admit that it was not as she claimed. the reason she is going after Riva is because reva have the courage to take what she wants even if it means falling flat on her face or having the whole town hate her. Right or wrong Reva lives life on her own terms. That is an enviable thing because not everyone have the courage to do that.

If your line of questioning is correct, then Edmund did nothing wrong and never victimized Cassie in any way. Those were simply Cassie's irrational claims to get Edmund arrested.

Again, why would Cassie want to marry a man whom she claimed killed her unborn baby and locked her in a tower, among other abuses?

I personally find it offensive, but maybe Olivia desires another "good rapin'."
