Does anyone else not get why the younger characters are aged in the wrong order? I mean iknow they all get aged eventually but...Jude is supposed to be older than Leah so why did they age her before Jude? it just makes no sense and it irritates me. For that matter if they aged Leah then Zach should be about what, 16 or so by now

SORAS, soap opera rapid aging syndrome. It has been used for years and years by soaps. They don't care about the reality of the characters age. All they care about are the stories. Therefore, if it helps a story to age a character, they do so. It's not that they think the viewers are idiots, they just do what is best for the show.

Leah is the only one that's not right, all the others are pretty close, except Daisy, they made her younger then Lizzie and Marina, when she was born before Frank even met Marina's mother.

I think the funnest age is Alan. He should be 73-74 years old. AM was pretty off too. He was born in 1981. Lizzy was born Thanksgiving 1990...

Those make sense though, I can understand why they changed those characters, and it's very easy to overlook.

Isn't Lizzie only supposed to be 18 anyway though? That's really close.

Sonia
I understand what you are saying, but to me it hurts the storyline to age a character this way. To me they need to age them naturally and would make more sense. It just make the storyline harder to follow.

Well, I think a little quicker growth is okay.... but in some cases it really nuts....... like Marina & Coop for example... that was way to fast.

I think some of that has to go with making sence with the parents too... I mean look at Harley, you can tell she is in her early 30's....... if they made Daisy 20 years old it just wouldn't fit. But then look at Frank... I think they are trying to make him look older then he really is so that he fits having a daughter in her early 20's.

No disrespect to the actress at all, but I think Harley looks much older than Gus, I mean a lot. She has aged quite a bit over the last two years. I kinow that BE will be turning 39 in a couple of weeks, and she's been on the show for 20 years...and Harley was either 16 or 17 when she first appeared on the show, so Harley is at least 36. IMO, Harley looks like she could easily have a twenty year old daughter, in fact that is exactly how old Daisy is supposed to be...

I pulled this from another website. These are the ages according to when they were "born" on-screen:

Daisy- Sept. 1987
Marah- June, 1987
Shayne- Feb. 1990
Lizzie- Nov. 1990
Marina- May 1993
Coop- Dec. 1994
RJ- Dec. 1998
Zach- Aug. 1999
Jude- Oct. 2001
Leah- March 2004
