I don't know why this is bothering me so much, but does anyone have any idea what the salary range for daytime tv actors is?

I wonder if they have hourly rates with a guarantee of a certain number of hours, or do they have a set salary. I know several of them have other jobs in addition to the TV stuff.

Anyone have any clue?

By no means was I implying that they were overpaid. Just wondered why they stuck to daytime rather than venturing out to other venues.

You are very right, they brighten my day tremendously, and I'm certainly thankful for them.

I still feel that there are more than 2 of us out there who wonder what they earn.

Since I have worked for the State of North Carolina for 32 years, where our salary is published for anyone to see, perhaps I'm not as sensitive to the privacy of salaries as are other people.

I should add that, while these numbers are typical, the most established performers often get substantially more and there has been quite a bit of variation from one show to the next and by network.

I looked up the adress and going by the info I got this. I thought you might want to know what I found out.

a yrs Salary is like $72,800 - $135,200 that's $1,400 to $2.600 a wk. WOW

A 5 year salary is like $135,000 - $260,000 that's $2.596.15 to $5,000.00 a week.

A 10 year salary is like $156,000 - $416,000 that's $3,000.00 to $8,000.00 a week.

Man I didn't know they made that much. WOW

I think they make pretty good money. I bet Kim Zimmer is in that higher range because she has been on GL a long time.
