Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Today was a big day for all of the GL fans here in Pittsburgh. I went to the first show and there were 1000 fans there too. We had a really pleasant surprise too, Tom Pelfrey was there!! If you want to hear 1000 screaming and happy people, it was heard here in the 'burgh. The event started at 1 and finished at 5. It was so good to see, Reva, Josh, Billy, Jeffrey, Bill, Alan and Shane, Phillip, Frank and Dinah.The biggest surprise to all of us was when Tom Plephrey showed up. It was a total surprise to all of us there. The Hyatt hotel was rocking today!!! There was a question and answer period for about 1 hour and then we got a chance to take photos and get autographs from the stars. GA is one hot, hot, hottie of a man. Shane, was so cute too. I am using their GL names, as it makes it easier for me and you. I did get to ask Grant a question. I ask why it took him so long to get back on the GL. He gave a good answer to my question. After the photo sessions, they all came back on stage and did a scene with folks that were picked out of the audience. I didn't make it up there on stage, darn it. But, it was fun to see all of them carrying on with the fans. Bill, was very sweet to me during my time with him. He and Dinah signed autographs and had our pictures taken with them. Gina, was so sweet and she is really a beautiful woman. Billy, was funny, and Reva was her sweet self to everyone. Joshua looked so good in his jeans. What a hunk of a man. I did get to meet PP and another poster, but, I am so tired I can't remember his name now. Sorry, my new friend. It started with an S, and he is from Washington D.C. The benefit was for the Breast Cancer Research and this event brought in a lot of money for research. All of the stars were all great, and I am glad we got to see it here first in Pittsburgh. There must be some talk of the GL going on the internet, as we were all asked if we would support a subscription to see it. That was loudly applauded. The fans all seemed to be grieving over the loss of our beloved soap. The event is off to Atlanta next, and then to Las Vegas in Dec. So, if you get a chance to go to this event, and want to meet and greet the stars, try and do so, it was fun to be in the same room with all of our favorite people again. I was a fun day, and I am sure the evening program was good too. All the stars were going to sing and perform for the other 1000 people that came for tonight's show. BTW, Alan is one handsome man too. All of the Lewis men were hot, especially Josh, or did I already say that, um, I think I did!!! As you can see he is my fav! What a smile on that man....

Thank you for the post. Sounds like you really had a great time. As I read your post, I could picture Josh in those jeans that he wears so well, Billy's big smile, and Bill with that gourgous smile and eyes. Ok, so I could see him in those little black shorts too, I couldn't help myself. He is just so good looking. Um!! Have you noticed that the Lewis men keep getting better looking every year? You are one lucky girl getting to spend time with Bill. Was this the first time that you had met him?

I just LOVED reading your post!! And how lucky you were to be a part of the P'burgh festivities!! I'm SOOO jealous!! LOL

This just reminds me once again why I loved and miss GL so very much.....the wonderful actors and their connection to the fans......*sigh*, tv (or my life) will never be the same without GL.
