does anyone know how the stupid game show that replaced gl is doing in the ratings? also the only comfort i am getting is by not watching cbs at all! i hope y and r and b and b and all the others will see what happens when you mess with gl fans! my grandmother and mother started the gl tradition and my sisters and even my sons watched over the years.i didn't always like the storyline and it took awhile to get used to the new filming but it was an hour a day that i enjoyed for forty-eight years! not everyone likes game shows talk shows or reality tv! i get enough reality just getting out of bed each morning to go to my stupid job thank you very much! i just hope the ratings tank not to hurt other soap fans but to hit cbs where it hurts

I would like to know as well. I really hope that LMAD tanked.

i just read on a web blog that lets make a deal rating is doing alright and they are pulling in the rating and that when as the world turns which will end next year will be replace by the pyramid game show they alright have there replacement for as the world turns when its ends on sept 17 2010, this is what i read on the lets make a deal web page blog im just telling you what i read

I do not care I will never watch anything on CBS in G&L time slot and I am glad I have not watch CBS since they canceled G&L. I watch all my soaps just on another channel. I guess the fans just didn't have the back bone or stamina to stand up for what they believe and stand together for our soaps so sad they will soon be gone. but you reap what to sow or something like that. we have only ourselves to blame.

thankyou for finding out about the ratings of the game show i do appreciate it but that is soooo depressing! in a weak moment i might have turned to as the world turns for a soap fix only to get attached and then have cbs rip it away also thankyou for saving me that frustration! it is not that i dont have a life but with all the hardships that come with living such as best friends moving coworkers leaving children growing up and family passing on gl was the one constant to turn to when things get tough. i guess it just takes awhile to get over it

Cindy, find you another soap and start watching it. Soaps are a great way of losing yourself in good storytelling. You are only punishing yourself by not watching. CBS is not going to suffer if you don't watch. It would take millions of viewers to make a difference and there are NOT millions who are going to stop watching that network. Find another good soap and support it. The ones left deserve it and so do you. Making a statement is fine if it does not hurt you, but in this case the statement is not worth the effort. CBS will survive the cancellation of GL no matter what it's fans do.

me i not watching lets make a deal i turn my TV off after as the world turns but i have gotten my Christmas cards done early and finishes my Christmas shopping so im am done with it all if they decided to put guiding light on tvland or on the web then great i will be there to watch i still watching young and restless and as the world turns i will watch it as the world turns to it end. we need to show support for ours soaps and keeps watching them and im am still supporting young and restless and as the world turns,and all of ours soaps,

Cindy, General Hospital, Days, Y & R and B & B and AWTW are all good to watch. Don't worry about the network. I don't watch Let's Make a Deal either, but soaps are a different story.

Keep in mind, folks, that many CBS affiliates did put LMAD on but not necessarily in GL's slot.
Cleveland, for example, put in Judge Joe Brown or Mathis...one of the idiots...they took off Trivial Pursuit and Family Feud I believe for LMAD.
Albuquerque is along the same lines from what I know.
So, LMAD might be doing well in the ratings race, but not for the reason's we're thinking.

there another soap that will becoming back to CBS and the producer are in talks with CBS about bring it back and i rather have the old cast back then a movies with new people playing them it wouldn't be the same,.
