I have 65 years to my credit, so yeah, I think I'm old enough to drink beer! Maybe cause I hang out with the hunks you thought I was a young chick, huh? Sorry, really, really, old. But there's life still left in me!

Hi PelphreyPosse! Wow! 65 years old? I'm impressed. I'm 53, and the way I feel, I won't make it to 65. I've had 10 abdominal surgeries in 8 years, 7 within the past 2 years, 2 in the month of June. I worry about my wife. She is 78. She's been having dizzy spells lately. I don't how she will be able to care for herself, if anything happens to me.

Hey PP, it is getting close to the Springfield event here in Pittsburgh. I get more excited every day knowing I will see Robert Newman, my Joshua!!! I have missed his handsome face every day. I hope I get a chance to meet you there at the event. E-mail me a day before, and we can try to catch up with each other. I will wear a name tag that says MerryMary. I hope to see many more of you posters too. Yea, GL, forever!!!! BTW, I have you beat in years, I'll be 70 on October 26th. We are never too old to party!!!!!

I wish I could say things for me are better, but they're not. It took a lot out of me to go to the luncheon last week, and if my doctor knew, he'd be furious with me. I have this massive fluid collection in my stomach (it was drained twice in June), and I have been diagnosed with my 4th hernia. My medical nightmare started 9 years ago this month...the last 2 1/3 years have been the worst.
Thank you for your good wishes

Quote PelphreyPosse: Well, I'm back and really exhausted. Four very fast paced days and nights and I loved some of it, some of it was very sad and depressing and some of it very disappointing. I will start with Thursday when I arrived, I had hoped to go to the ATWT studio but they were filming in upper NY and finishing up scenes at the studio before I could get in to NYC and out there. So I will go in April instead. My friend and I went to Jessica's (Natalia) husband's restaurant for dinner, Jess has designated me as his "2nd wife" so he fed us and then surprised us with Keith Urban tickets across the street at Madison Square Garden (a sold out show). We had dynamite really close seats and it was fantastic. Leave it to me to leave Nashville where Keith lives about 10 miles from me and go to NYC and see him perform!). We then went and crashed at our room. Friday morning, my friend went shopping and to tour the Top of the Rock and I went to Beth Chamberlin's luncheon. Her guests were Grant (Phillip) and his wife Sherrie, James (Zac), Rick (Michael O'Leary) Vanessa (Maeve Kincaid), Mel (Yvonna Wright) Doris (Orlaugh Cassidy) and Matt (Kurt McKinney). Alexandria (Marg Dusay) didn't show. And of course, Beth. It was a really nice luncheon and an auction for the Humane Society for Cruelty to Animals. Took lots of pictures, and I had a good chance to talk to Grant and he introduced me to his wife. I work for the animal shelter here in Nashville as a volunteer so that was really special. She is an attorney who specializes in cases of animal abuse.

Do you think that you could put your pictures on youtube? Kaylee did when she met Bill, Remy and Christine....that would be wonderful to see because you must have a million pictures since you know so many of the actors and are close friends with them.....please try to figure a way to show them to us, we all miss GL and the actors so very much, videos would be wonderful!!

As soon as I can go to my daughter's in Savannah, Tenns. I will get her to help me fix a photo album with a web address and you can all go and see some of my pics. I just don't know how to do this on my own. Computer illiterate, I know! I have albums and albums of photos of more than 20 years of doing these. And lots are taken at dinners, and places away from the events. Will work on this and let everyone know once I get it fixed. Put your email address under your avitar and I can scan and send you ones of your favorites while waiting.
