Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Hi,
Has anyone heard anymore from the September 25 posting about TVland picking up and creating GL next summer?? I would love to see it back on the air. I miss my soap family!!

I hope TV Land picks up Guiding Light. That would be amazing. I miss the soap!!!

I have not read or heard anything else about GL on T.V. since Sept. I would be happy to watch re runs of GL if that is all we could get. I just miss our GL and family and friends in Springfield.

I had heard somewhere that maybe a cabel chanel would pick up Guiding light, maybe this is the one lets all hope. I feel like I have lost family members with the show ending.

Absolutely NO ONE is going to "pick up GL next summer". That would be impossible, a year from now not one of those actors would be available to do the show. They would have to re-cast just about the entire show and what would be the point for that. The only hope we have is the internet show. That we might hear about in January from P & G.
