Last night I went to add a show to my VCR and very reluctantly took off the time slot for GL. It took me a few minutes to do it, and I found myself thinking that maybe there would be something this monday about GL. It's silly I know, but I actually had trouble doing this. It's very much like losing a good friend.

I totally know how that feels. It sucks, doesn't it?

I swear I'm in complete and utter denial that our Springfield "friends" are gone. I also keep thinking that I'll turn on the tv tomorrow morning at 10am (NYC timeslot) and that there won't be some replacement show, but instead, another little tribute or SOMETHING about GL.

I mean, this wasn't some little show that was on the air for a year or two......some silly sitcom that lasted only a few months.......this was a show whose record will NEVER be broken or even closely matched......72 YEARS WORTH OF STORIES! I don't care how low the ratings were......it was a treasure that should have been kept alive.

You are correct, Beeloo
Lot of people that will have to make some major changes and I for one do not like it one little bit!! Guess we will have to plan something to keep us very busy for a while, never will accept that it is gone but will have to make myself get used to not having it!! Boo Hiss!!
