I always tape the shows and watch them later that evening. I was so caught up with emotion last night as the last minutes came, I got confused with one scene. Dinah and Mallet were peaking into the church one moment, and it appeared they were looking at a wedding taking place. I thought it was Shane and Marinas. Then they didn't scan to them again until the were running out of the church. Was it the two of them getting married?? I don't want to replay the scene since the ending is still emotional for me.

Yeah I really didn't understand it either. I men did they get married. Because I thought she said that "nothing was as good as our wedding" So was that there first wedding or did they get married again? And I don't think it was Shayne and Marniah's wedding. At least I hope not!

I think that scene was just showing that everyone was in the right place. together. mirina and shane together after being child hood loves and dina and mallet going on one adventure after another finally happy and together. i think they were just watching some random wedding and remembering how much they loved eachother.

That part was confusing, also, to me.......

I agree that the scenes with Mallet and Dinah were MEGA confusing.I loved the chemistry between them and am hoping that what was meant by their comments was that they were remarried.

I didn't get that either - sorry guys - doesn't this stink! Also, WHAT happened to Jeffrey?????I still cry a little every so often! Next week & beyond won't be good...

Well I rewatched the Finale and did you see Mallet asking Dinah to marry him? It was the second scene with them. And of course she said yes and that is when he carried her out of the church. They just left so many loose ends and didn't tie them up.It didn't even feel like the end.It felt like there should of been at least a week more. I mean I even though don't like Malah would of loved to of seen the the wedding. And all the kids growing up. And where the hell was Jeffery,Edmund,and Vanessa. I would of at least of been happy if they showed Jeffery looking into springfield or something. But no it didn't show him at all. And after the wedding it never showed Vanessa again. Where was she? Billy spoke of her but she never showed up. Do you think she was looking for Dinah? lol! We should all get together and put the show back up. We all have really good idea's. Lol!

SOD asked a question about Jeffrey to one of the writers. If you remember Edmund's speech the day before he says that Jeffrey and him love the thrill of the hunt and chase. Supposedly what happened to Jeffrey is either he's dead having died in a battle with Edmund or he and Edmund are still playing cat and mouse. Lame but Jeffrey did come to town as a secret agent so I guess it's supposed to be full circle for them.

As for Dinah and Mallet, they are just running around Europe together. I'm not sure if they got married again. I would not be surprised. Mallet and Dinah were two loners when they crossed paths the first time they met so there they are again. It was not Shayne and Marina's wedding. Shayne and Marina were back in Springfield as a couple at a baseball game. Shayne is now the assistant coach at the highschool. Marina and Shayne are a couple which is back to the start for them as childhood loves.

Yeah I know the whole John Doe thing didn't wrap up too well. I mean most of them affected most by it wasn't in Springfield. I mean Mallet and Dinah and in Europe and Jeffery is I think still play cat and mouse with Edmund. The only people that were still there were Reva but then she left and Shayne and Marinah . This whole John Doe thing just never made much sense to me. it was good at first until Jeffery supposedly died and Dinah leaving.

The John Doe storyline was a mess from the start. The writers didn't know which way they were going. The reason the writers ended the storylines I believe the way they did with Jeffrey, Dinah and Mallet was because of the actors.

Bradley Cole ( Jeffrey ) chose to leave before the show ended. If the show had been resigned, Bradley Cole already said that he was not going to come back as Jeffrey. They had to do something with Jeffrey's character.

Gina Tognoni ( Dinah ) chose to leave 2 months before the show ended. I knew she was doing some finale episodes but those could have only been with actors who were on the set at the time. I don't believe in the end Shayne would have left Henry. I also don't think Shayne would have taken Henry away from Marina. Dinah and Shayne's lives in the end were going different directins.

Robert Bogue ( Mallet ) left early as well because he had a movie that he was going to do. I think in the end that is why they set up Mallet and Dinah the way they did.

Yeah well it makes sense. I wish none of them had to leave but they all had good reason's. But why did Gina leave 2 months early? Mabye it was b/c she wanted time with her new husband. It just needed to be longer to get everyone where they were suppose to be. It would of been better to just have Jeffery die in the first place but then we wouldn't have had Johnathon come back. It is just so sad
