Mrs.JamesSpaulding: Please read my post for my take on Jeffrey. I am a true romantic and I think my explanation would make you happier. Hope so anyway.

I think Jeffrey and Edmund returned to their palace where they originated. They left the way they first arrived, under a shroud of mystery.

Edmund let it be known that if Jeffrey EVER revealed to Reva that he was alive that he would start killing all the children.So perhaps Jeffrey felt it was best for him to stay dead.This would protect Reva and his son.There also was the implication by Edmund that he knew that Jeffrey enjoyed "the game" as much as he did.That perhaps "the game" was more important to Jeffrey than anything else.

Edmund and Jeffrey were very evenly matched.So that chase could go on forever.I would have liked to see a more definitive ending for those characters but we won't get it.So we have to fill in the blanks as best we can.Joshua will be a good Father figure to Colin.

I guess Cyrus was so wrapped up in the jewels and Mel that he forgot about his brother Grady. I guess Jeffrey will forever be on the chase of Edmund throughout eternity.
Seems they could have at least had Jeffrey and Edmund fight on top of a building and both fall to their deaths!

the people who care about Jeffery and Grady haven't watched the show as long as some of the other viewers. Jeffery and Reva were only together 1 year out of the whole history of things. Jeffery was a good guy who kept bad Edmond away from what/who he loved. Josh and Reva were meant to be together for Always, no matter what, that's what Always means.
Grady who cares.

I was a fan of Reva & Jeffrey. He realy loved her and his son. I felt kind of cheated not knowing what happened to Jeffrey in the end. I think that Jonathon should have told Josh the truth before he let him go off with Reva. He owed it to him.
I have been a fan of Guiding Light since I was a young girl. I used to watch it with my mom everyday and I think the writers owed us some kind of closure with Jeffrey and Edmund. Anyways that's all I have to say, except that I will miss the show.

I think the reason Jonathon never told his mom that Jeffery was alive is because Jonathon has devoted his life to keeping Sarah safe and if Reva knew Jeffery was alive then Edmond said he would start killing the children. I think Jeffery made the biggest sacrifice to keep Reva and Collin safe. Very noble. I'm so happy with the ending. Liked the light house scene at the end with Josh and Reva. The last words to be spoken were "Always"

I think that the writers were total cowards. I think that they knew the fans were split between Reva/Josh and Reva/Jeffery and decided that the easy way out was not to let her be with either one. Kim said in an interview that she was not happy with her ending. She wanted Reva and Jeffery to be together but the "always" thing was the fans idea of perfection. Obviously the writers were afraid of the fan reaction so they did nothing. Wasn't fair to anyone, Reva, Josh, Jeffery, the fans, blah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
