maybe they had left it open in case they find a new home for the soap they can write they show where they had left off and maybe there not saying they did the same thing to the soap capital to you never knew who got shot or who shot who.

imo jeffery's ending turn out to be off-screen stuff? jeff let his job come before reva and colin. he chose death and destuction over his family . he became obsessed with the chase and hunt.imo instead of marrying jeffeva they should of gave jeff back his edge it suit's him better? the married life turned him into a bore imo. honestly the only thing i enjoyed was lookng at his nice face and smile. joshua and reva 25+ yrs. of history speaks volume.jeff's six little yrs. of volume don't speak loud enough. i'm glad ew made the right decision. jmo though.

Who cares now, it is all over. Bradley did a great job, while he as on the light, but, he is doing what he does best, singing.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that didn't like the way it ended. While I do like Reva and Josh together, I also agree that the writers should have addressed Jeffery. They just left it up in the air that Jeffery and Edmund would keep up the chase. I don't believe he would just stay gone having a son that he seemed to care about. So for me the ending wasn't as good as I had hoped. I am glad everyone ended up with the people they were supposed to be with.

They addressed Jeffrey/Edmund yesterday when they shouted from rooftop to rooftop.
Something along the lines of "come on, you love the hunt as much as I do...we'll be doing this for a while"
Then Edmund saluted GL. I thought that was the last we saw of them yesterday but didn't wanna jump the gun.
To me, it was almost like the end of a great adventure novel where the game goes on.
One thing that I wondered since Sarah came to town --- how come she never looked at ALL the pics of Jeffrey and said, "Isn't that the man from the plane?"
Reva would have had to change her underwear.
But thats the soap writer in me

I'm more than disappointed, I don't buy why they left the Jeffry s/l open like that. You mean to tell me that we are supposed to buy that Jonathon NEVER tells his mother that the father of her child is still alive?? Josh & Reva were so over years ago, this sucks! What a waste to me after 30 years of watching....is this all they could come up with? LAME!

I don't get that either - guess we'll find out eventually what happened to Jeffrey & who did Mallett & Dinah see getting married????? In the church? I didn't get that either. Also, in Soap Opera Weekly, they had the last show with them all blowing bubbles! That didn't happen either - or maybe it was just a publicity stunt, that's what it was. Sheesh. Also TOO may commercials!!!!!!

Just like everyone else, all I could think after today's episode was What about Jeffery?? And How come Jonathon never said anything??? They had their chance yesterday to wrap up that s/l easily. Edmund and Jeffery could have just have ended up shooting each other at the same time, and there you go! No more Edmund to worry about and Josh and Reva could be together.

I was surprised we didn't see Jeffery he was in the opening credits. I kept expecting to see him gun down Edmund, then after a year later and Reva went to the light house I thought time for Jefferey to show. Even to the last when Josh and Reva were driving away, I thought Jefferey will block the truck and announce he's back and Edmund is dead. But didn't happen, frankly I'm glad it ended with Reva with Josh. But they should have answered the question, perhaps have Josh ask about Jeffery and let the audience infer that Jefferey came back early and Reva is still making her choice.

Grady was no big deal, its why they made Cyrus not his brother to cut the cord.

I think they ended it with the what the majority of fans wanted. But at the end when they're driving out of town in the truck, it would've been alright to see Jeffery watching from the bushes. Then we'd at least know something more than what we were left with. And who knows, in that year, maybe Jeffery did show up, Reva shut him out and wanted her Joshua anyway.

I think thats what they wanted...for us to imagine what happened with Jeffrey. Sort of a pick-your-path adventure
Frankly, for me at least, I was never a fan of Jeffrey...I liked Richard better--

I agree, they could of just ended the fight that has been going on for months yesterday, but they chose not to; another thing that just came to my mind was where was Vanessa today? she wasn't even on the finale, and I assume mallet and Dinah were together then I guess? I don't know.

well i started losing interest i GL almost a year ago. something just seemed off. cameara shots,script..i couldnt put my finger on it,but i thought both jeffery & jonathan were interesting enough i kept watching to be honest i would have rather seen edmund shoot reva...i was really burnt out on that character. it was once my favorite soap and i watched for 15 years. i wish all the people much good luck,and hope to see tom show up somewhere,because i think he has much talent. sorry i didnt mean to write a book.
