Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I just need a moment to vent to people who understand. Because let's be honest -- unless you watch Guiding Light, you won't sympathize. Doesn't everything really good in life eventually go away? Doesn't the goodness and the happiness in life get ruined by someone or something? That's my mood today. This just sucks. I'm sick of being cheerful and looking on the bright side. I'll be better tomorrow but today I just feel awful. This shouldn't have happened.

I'm right there with you. Trust me..this is horrible. I'm deleting CBS from my TV...

You know, that's a thought. I can't think of another program that we watch on CBS, not one.

I have friends who do not watch soaps, and they think I've lost my mind. I DON'T CARE...let 'em think I'm crazy!!! LOL

I will miss this show so much that my heart is aching as if someone has died.......I swear, I'm in a bad way!

And I WILL NOT.......absolutely WILL NOT watch that Let's Make a Deal crap!! I'm not the least bit interested in Wayne Brady and his moronic ways. Uuugh.

What a joke of a show to put on in place of GL. Remember the days when they would replace a soap with a new soap? That would have been difficult to swallow, too. Soaps are a dying breed I guess, but I can think of a bunch of 'em that should have cancelled in place of GL!!!!!!!!

I'm not boycotting CBS...it wouldn't do any good at all. I just hope that Y & R and ATWT will survive, that's the only other soaps I watch. I won't watch that show that replaces GL time in their time slot. I'll just spend more time away from TV, that's all. I'll miss GL a lot. I hate this!

I absolutely will not watch "Let's Make A deal." I think the deal we were given was a disgrace. GL should have stayed on the air. The ratings were not any lower than some of the other shows. I hope "Let's Make A Deal falls flat on its moronic bottom.

I would do that but unfortunately where I live they are moving Y&R to GL time slot and putting LMAD into the Y&R time slot. Although, I do not watch Y&R as much as I used to due to some poorly written s/l's, doom, gloom, killing of animals, TERRIBLE ROMANTIC match-ups, and the most important thing the last TWO groups of writters do NOT know the characters HISTORY and what the character would and would NOT do. I hear ATWT's is next on the chopping block, and it just seems like maybe there is some kinda of deliberate attempt to get rid of soaps because they are no longer cost effective or other types of shows are so very less expensive to produce. Sorry, end of rant.

I'm grieving. People who have never watched soaps just don't understand. My husband watched the 60 Minutes esgment with me last Sunday and even he was moved. He didn't realize it had been so long running.

I NEED 2 MOMENT'S......I am so sad over the light dimming i did nothing today but stay in bed and utter the same phrase over and over "i cant believe it's over" come Monday Morning i will be at work{worked night's most of my life alway's had time for the light} they changed my shift about 6 month's ago i have dvr every eppy since then....I took the day off to wallow in my MISERY.......and oh what a MISERY it is a whole in my heart the last link to my grandma so many memories so sad that i am ranting and making no sense.....GOODNITE

You don't have to apologize. This sucks and there's no getting around it. It's gonna feel a lot worse on Monday at 9. But I think my strategy for making it a little bit better on Monday will be to either watch HGTV or go for a walk.
