Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

We salute all the cast of "GUIDING LIGHT" and thank them for all the years of happiness. Losing GL will be like losing several family members at one time. This will be like having to go into the witness protection program and never seeing family again. They say all good things must come to an end. I guess this is one of those good things. Only time will tell. I will not believe this until Monday when I tune in and see there is no GL on CBS. I keep hoping this is all a dream. I suffered through the loss of "Another World" back some years ago and now this. I have one soap left "Day of our Lives." DOOL was my third favorite. I never dreamed DOOL would out live GL. Again thanks so much cast for all the years. Today will be like going to a funeral. I dread 2pm central time. The clock ticks as I wait. Tick, Tick, Tick... Good bye, Reva and Josh, Marina and Shayne, Remy and Christina, Bill and Lizzie, Phillip and Beth, James and Daisy, Ashlee and Rafe, Buzz and Lillian, Rick, Lynn, Frank, Blake, Olivia, Natalia, Alexandra, Johnathan, Sarah, Henry, Colin, Cyrus and Mel, Emma, Peyton, etc... Farwell Alan Spaulding you were my favorite. I loved to hate you. Rest in peace my friend. "WE SALUTE YOU" The clock slowly ticks towards 2p central time. tick tick tick tick tick tick!!!

OMG,I am just SICK over this!! I've watched GL for over 30 year and I can't except that my show won't be on come Monday morning.....these people are like family to me!

It starts here (NYC area) in a few minutes......I'm know I'll be crying nonstop during the entire episode!

I was laying in my bed this morning watching the show and crying my eyes out. My husband stopped in on a way to another job, came up to talk to me.I couldn't answer anything he was saying, it took him a minute to realize I was crying and why I wasn't answering him. He looked at me with a smile and said you will be ok.Someday

Funny that you said that Lulu. One of the first things that I said this morning when I got up was, I still can't believe that today is the last day of my GL. My husband is like, your not gonna let get you down and out and having pity parties, are you. And I am like, no, not me. Little did he know, I was already in my down and out, pity party world.
