Yep, that's pretty much how it all went down - it doesn't say in the article, but it also appears that Shayne and Marina are a couple at the end too (they kiss). I loved the little nod to all of the GL intros of the past in the beginning too. It was a nice show..but this still sucks beyond belief.

Was happy with the ending, some parts of it. Wish they would do a book like Jonathon's Story and keep us filled in on the shows ending.
It took me ,felt like months to get over Jonathon's leaving before. Who knows how long this will take

If that's the way it ends its a bummer. This is one long time fan that will be very disappointed!

I, too, loved the flashes of all the previous intros at the beginning........I actually started to cry right then.

It made me realize how much I despise that current and last into...."Only Love Can Save The World." They never should have taken away the lighthouse intro with the beautiful music that will forever be in my head.

With that said, I was happy with most of today's show (not too much about all that Remy/Christina junk).....BUT...this is what I truly thought would happen at the very end:

I thought FOR CERTAIN that it would have ended with some kind of nod to Bert Bauer........maybe fading to black while showing her picture.....and maybe pics of the other old timers, like Henry Chamberlain, Roger Thorpe, and HB Lewis. I also thought that maybe there would have been some sort of "thank you" written across the screen to the viewers......."Thank you for sharing the "light" with us for 72 years", or something like that.....or maybe some of the actors actually speaking to the camera (as themselves, not the characters). Just some thoughts I had about how the very end would have been. I enjoyed it immensely, but was surprised that Bert Bauer, et al, wasn't represented at the end.
