Thank you LADY53 for posting this link, I really enjoyed it. Thanks again. WOW, she took it PERSONAL and as a slap in the face to not only REVA & JOSH when TPTB paired up CASSIE & JOSH but to herself as well. That's good to know, she is a very gracious lady but I can understand how she felt because many fans felt the SAME WAY. I will ALWAYS LOVE KIM ZIMMER and NEVER forget her portrayal of REVA SHAYNE LEWIS. KZ does not refer to her character any other way but REVA SHAYNE LEWIS and I LOVE IT...................................... |

Thank you Kim for this wonderful interview. If you read this it is with a very heavy heart that I say I am not looking forward to watching the final episode tomorrow, although I will watch because I LOVE my light. I have been watching for as long as I can remember, sitting there with my great grandmother, GL was her favorite soap. I feel like I am losing my friends, I know it is silly because it is a soap and not reality but when you invite people into our home everyday and watch what they go through and in some way go through it with them, it is heart breaking when it's gone. The owners of the soap should have tried hard to at least move the show to a different channel, I hate this is happening, and cant do anything about it. I will miss all of you terribly and I wish you all the best that life will offer, myself as well as all your fans, we will go on, you will go on, you dont know us, you dont see us but we know Reva, Josh, Billy, and everyone else in springsfield, we cried, laughed and got so angry when they put Josh and Cassie together, swore we would stop watching, but we never did, we kept on yelling at the TV and crying over something that to some would be so silly, but to a soapster, we know it's not reality but we welcome all of you into our world and not its a sad, sad time to say goodbye. |

I do have to say that the last several years were such a disappoinment especially killing KING RICHARD, creating Jeffery instead, making Cassie's little boy evil, having Holly kidnap the children, Phillip s/l and his leaving, and especially CASSIE being paired with JOSH. I did quit watching and I had been watching since 1970 when I was a child, with my mom. I did start re-watching when PHILLIP was written back in, but too much damage had already been done and one character couldn't save our beloved GL. When JOSH & REVA were together GL's ratings were the HIGHEST they had ever been and the two actors were just "magic" together, it is a shame that it looks like they won't be reunited. What a waste. Kim Zimmer will write a dynamite book and I for one will buy it. Thank you KIM ZIMMER and ROBERT NEWMAN for all the wonderful years you have given your GL fans and good luck to ya'll and the rest of your GL family in their future endeavers. THANK YA'LL AGAIN because many of us will never forget all the laughs, weddings, births, couples falling in love, affairs, triangles, manipulations, double-crosses, revenge-plots, and yes even the deaths of our MAUREEN, TAMMY, KING RICHARD, ROSS, JUSTIN, JACKIE, CARRIE, H.B., HENRY, COOP, MIKE, and BERT BAUR just to name a few. I think we will all be giving ya'll a standing ovation when the light goes dark. |
