I am in need of some therapy!!!!!!!!!!!!

This show has been a part of my life for a long time. I just hate that it's almost over. It just makes me so mad. These characters have touched my life in so many ways. How depressing!! ITA. When 60 minutes did their tribute to GL, Tina Sloane who plays Lillian Raines said that the show had been on life support for quite some time, but she never thought that CBS would pull the plug on an american institution. I never thought that they would either. I thought GL would be around long after I passed away like so many of my family members that watched also. It is so sad and it will take some getting use to. I hate that it is ending and I hate CBS for pulling the plug.

I also feel I may need some therapy. I just can't believe how upset I am over losing my show. My husband and my son think it's funny that their taking a soap (my soap) off the air. I get so mad at them. This is the one hour each day that I take for me...it's my time!!! I don't think they would find it funny if they cancelled football or the Simpsons. If any of you would like to come over and punch my boys you certainly have my permission. Sorry I just need to vent. I've brought out my sewing machine and started a few projects hoping it will help next week when I cannot tune in to see my TV family. Boooooo for cancelling our light. |

My 5 yr old grandson watches GL with me. Today he said, Nanny you don't wanna see this cause you will cry and then I will cry! He sings the theme song when he is playing by himself.... |

Brenda, the only thing you CAN do is watch something else at that time. I live in Pinellas County, FL & it comes on at 3pm. next week I'll watch "I dream of Jeannie" until maybe the beginning of Oct. Then turn the t.v. off after ATWT ends at 3 pm. But we're here for each other, OK???

there was an ad on TV today and its looks like that the games shows are going to be in the morning and the soaps in the afternoon and young and restless will be seen in the afternoon |

This can't really be the end!! In the last couple of weeks they have created all sorts of new s/l that they could build upon...now all we are left with is a bunch of unfinished s/l that we can only imagine what could have been. So sad it is really coming to an end...wish it would have gone on forever!! Don't know why they need another dumb game show on the air... GL was a one of a kind type of show that can never replaced. I am sooooo going to miss it!!!! |

Count me in out at the 10:00 viewing, I WON"T watch Let's make a Deal! I'm with you, Merry...I won't be watching Let's Make a Deal!! Who would settle for that after looking forward to watching GL for all these years. They could have at least put something a little bit interesting in GL's time slot. |

GL has been in my life everyday from birth. This is a life change for me..its sounds corny to alot of people but I know you guys here can understand. I am so devastated. will i saw a ad that looks like that the young and restless is moving to a new time slot and the games show will be on in the morning, they are changing things around, pretty soon they wont be anything to watch and morning will be boring as the nights to. i can watch my movies that i brought it wont be the same,without the light i think its was more CBS than proctor and gamble doing and they had no choice in the matter i think CBS already is sinking if proctor and gamble gave up there rights to the soaps and sell it someone who really wanna to fight for the soap than it would had a chance instead of hanging on to it. |
proctor and gamble people gave up all hopes and didn't really fight for the show for the fans,
