Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I must say that so far, I am dissapointed with the ending plots for Guiding Light. 6 months notice of the cancellation and this is what we get? I'm sorry, but this whole Edmund and Jeffrey thing is ridiculous! This could have been cleared up so long ago (they don't even show them every week). It just seems to me that alot of time was wasted that could have been used to really give us a finale that is deserving of a show that has been on for 72 years. In fact, I think that GL should have ended their run on their 70th anniversary. That was the absolute best episode that paid such tribute to the genre in general. I was so hoping for something special like that for the finale, but it does not look like it is going to happen. I know that everything can't be perfect, but I'm just not diggin' this finale so far. Hopefully Wed, Thurs and Friday will deliver. Atleast give us a real kiss with "OTALIA"....please!

i just heard that CBS network is up for sale and they are letting some of there employees go they had a bad year.and they are suffering money wise and there stocks are down to also.

Shannon:Agreed.The Jeffrey/Edmund story is disjointed and lacks continuity.I can't believe they are holding out until the day before the last episode to rap that up.

who cares? it's most likely due to all the bad decisions they have made. their biggest mistake was canceling G&L.

I'm with you..This is the greatest soap ever,and the "light" goes out on the 18th...I'm very sad...It's the end of an era...

This is an example of corporate greed by CBS,thinking a game show that had it's run 20 years ago is going to bring in viewers...PLEASE...

I don't even watch CBS any more,with the exception of ATWT..
