Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Did my eyes deceive me? I know they did not, as my 13 yo DS commented, too..
Kay and Michael from Y&R? Greeting Vanessa today on GL and playing different characters? WTH?
I looked around, but couldn't find anything out about it on here...anyone know anything?

Kerilou, they both wanted to be a part of the final episodes of GL, since it's such an institution. It worked out that both of them were coming on the East Coast to do a St. Judes appearance and they filmed in Peapack for that day. I spoke with Christian about it at the Y & R dinner and he said they both had such a great time and he was truly sorry for the show's demise.

I try to get on here to get the scoop, but I am dealing with dial up (only option out here in the boonies) and it takes SO LONG for this site to load that I finally gave up looking...Thanks for the info!

He was on Facebook tonight talking about being on the show. We were teasing him about his accent and being Jeanne's kept man.

I really thought it was great that the stars both appeared, but I also experienced a WTH? moment. They should have been their Y&R soap characters--I don't think it would have caused such a weird moment since they would have been accepted more readily.

I know my eyes were not playing games with me. When both couples were saying their vows, I saw Michael sitting with the guests. That was before they came over to Vanessa.That had me wondering where Mrs C was at that moment. I thought I missed that episode, guess not Nice of them to come support the Light.

They had said a couple of months ago that they wanted to go as a gesture of respect. I thought it was cool of them.

I dont have a problem with Jeanne and Christian being on the show but not in the characters they played. I would have wanted to see them more in their Y&R character. I was not pleased at all with this, Jeanne and Christian are fantastic and I LOVE them both, the writers disappoint me, AGAIN, for not giving them more of an emotional part.
