I have a bad, bad, bad feeling about JOSH going anywhere near VENEZUELA. For those of ya'll who are new to GL, Josh went to Venezuela after apregnant Reva(with his child) had left his half-brother KYLE SAMPSON(daddy was HB & mamma was a high-class madame)at the altar. Anyway while he was there he met, fell in love with, and married the beautiful SONNI who supposedly died on their honeymmon. Well, of course she didn't die and came back from the dead. Of course she was crazy and we all thought she was the twin SELENA(she was also having an affair with JOSH'S best friend WILL JEFFERIES(an ex-priest). If I remember right she was sexually abused as a young child and her mind created the split personality of SONNI/SELENA. Someone help me because I can't remember the end of this s/l. I'm still hoping for a "twist" that will put REVA & JOSH back together. JOSH flies to VENEZUELA where he meets SONNI & WILL JEFFERIES(they are married), has an accident, and is in a coma where he dreams everything for the last several years. He and REVA have been married for years. Whatever happens w/JOSH & REVA I will be disappointed if they don't somehow put them together. They are wrapping everyone else up and giving them closure and happiness except JOSH. ALAN SPAULDING who has done so much evil to so many people and they are letting him be redeemed and find happiness and even be called a hero, but they let JOSH leave Springfield when just days ago he is so happy to be a grandad, come on..........................................................

A few points to clarify: Josh went to Venezuela because Reva was pregnant with H.B.'s child. When he came back, that was when Reva and Kyle's wedding was destroyed by Maeve, who announced that Ben was his son. Kyle left, and Reva and Josh got it on again. Josh announced months later about the whole Sonni thing. He met her and married her while in Venezuela. She died falling from a cliff. She came back to Springfield, but it wasn't really Sonni, it was her twin sister Solita.

My thought about Venezuela was, why go to a country run by a dictator who is taking control of all the business in the nation?

Also, the Lewis Construction that had business in Venezuela was folded into Spaulding during Lizzie and Bill's merger. The new 'HB Lewis and Sons' seems kinda small time to start a new venture in South America.

I agree--Why would the writers pick Venezuela for him to go to. The most unfriendly business country run by a dicator.
It would have been interesting if someone in town had told him
isn't that dangerous or show some concern about where he was going.
I would have told him stay home...my home.

I think the writers just needed a place for Josh to go and didn't realize the history. They probably forgot that the Venezuela operations were taken care of by Bizzie. But he said he's just going for a little while. . .

Billy and Josh are 1/2 brothers. Billy and Kyle are 1/2 brothers. Kyle and Josh are not blood related. H.B. had an affair with Kyle's mom, a madame. He and Ms. Martha raised Billy as she was his real mom. Kyle's mom later had a affair with I think a man of god--a cardinal or something like that, and that was Kyle's daddy. So, Josh and Billy are brother from another mother. Sunni did not die. She fell off the cliff and Josh thought she died. She came back as Sunni. Later it was discovered that she was her evil twin Solita. But, Solita hung herself and Sunni took on her as Sunni had a split personality. At one point, she too had shot Alan

They could have said he was going to meet Myra and reconnect with his daughter, that would have made more sense.
