DIdn't they mention something on 60 minutes about wanting to give the fans and ending that they really want?!! WHY NOT REVA AND JOSH!!!!! ITS INSANE that they would even consider not putting them back together! WHat the heck is going on here! Sure I am happy about the others all being happy but I would rather them all be in limbo and have our REVA AND JOSH!!!!!! What the F!!!!!!!!!

Phillygirl06:I feel your pain about this issue.It is over and done but that doesn't mean we can't be ticked off about it.Josh and Reva were a classic GL couple that were for decades a touchstone of the show.They should have brought them back together for the close of the series.I am sad to see it end this way and also pretty ticked off.We do not need the writers of this show to remind us that nothing is forever.A soap is a fantasy.That is what it is all about.The fufillment of a romantic fantasy and gripping drama.When they deviated from that formula it floundered.I am glad that they are giving Reva/Jeffrey a happy ending.But where is Josh's happy ending?He just gets used and abused and packed off to nowwhere.That just sucks for his character and for Reva/Joshua fans everywhere.

Having watched this show since 1979, the character of Josh has always been interesting. He came on the show as a playboy/bit of a scumbag back in the early 1980s. He didn't really get to become a good person until Reva got on the show in 1983. He would always leave town back then if he didn't get his way, so this isn't that far of a stretch for him as a character. He did the same thing back in 1984, when Reva was pregnant with H.B.'s kid. We always wanted Josh with Reva, and we loved that anticipation. But once they were together, it always sucked after a while. This is true of every great story. It would make sense that they left the show in the status that they were the most on the show: apart.
