on 60 minuets some fat, gray haired old man said G&L fans had aged and that's why they canceled. he predicted the end of all soaps. do they think older women do not have purchasing power? do we not buy soap? lets boycott them for a while and show them some gray power. while it will not bring back G&L lose of revenue is the only thing that gets their attention so maybe if we stick together we can save the soaps we already have.

I believe, also he said something along the lines of GL fans being wrinkled???

I have many young friends in their 20's and 30's who are GL fans! I guess the guy never heard of Tivo.

Anyhow, I thought he was very insulting to all GL fans

Gray Power? I'm a 39 year old male. I have a few gray hairs, but I've been watching since 1979. 30 years!!!!

That's what I have been saying for days. Those of us who are babyboomers have grown up on this stuff. We will be the viewing audience of daytime for the next 20, 30 + years and they are pushing us around. We have been working women and men for the last 20,30,40+ years. When I was working full time I recorded GL so I could watch it on weekends and evenings when nothing else was on TV. I do not even look that hard for things to watch anymore since CBS manages to take off anything decent and puts on stupid stuff. On 9/21,
I will start recording ATWT which will be the only thing I care about on CBS daytime anymore. Y&R drives me up the wall at times. So CBS, I may be 50+ with a few gray hairs but I am still able to make choices for myself. I choose not to watch CBS daytime when the GL goes dark!!!!!
