Quote recyclepile: Quote mimi1211: Here is a thought. If you don't want to know what happened on the show. DON'T come here until you watch it!! Stop being upset with someone for posting something when you could have just watched first then came and read the board later. Common sense! My thoughts exactly. PS: Alan's still dead. Where is your soap heart? We are grieving here!!!! |

If you have a SPOILER or a RUMOR you'd like to share with Soaps.com, we ask that you please ensure that your title is named appropriately. Try not to 'spoil' things for all as many prefer to be surprised. This isn't primarily a spoiler message board. People enjoy coming here to talk about the show in general. That's why there are rules. Common sense. |

Quote pink kiity: maybe Allan knew he was going to died I think Alan did know---people do know. There is a sixth sense when a death is imminent. He was preparing himself and Alex in the hospital before the surgery and he was coming to the realization during the wedding reception. It's like he his his AHAH moment. Once you come to that point, you die. Its a fact of life from what I've seen, and they hit a slam dunk with it. I dont like the fact that Alan had to die, but its SOO appropriate for THE Guiding Light. Think of the 70th anniversary show when BE played Irna Phillips and she killed a character, didnt she write a letter to the fans saying death is a part of life and we must understand, etc etc...its like we're paying hommage to Irna...to me at least. Here's what I dont understand...when was the last time the both participants in a bone marrow transplant are released the next day? Yes its soapland, but come on. How many times did they say "we're not out of the woods yet" "dont count your chickens before they're hatched yet" type thing...and poof...they're well enough and immune enough to go to a wedding? umm...they screwed up that part -- but I'm glad they could attend |

I agree with Shorty, i didnt read anywhere that Alan dies, i watched the episode late last night, but some may not have seen it yet, i think this should be removed before someone elses sees this before they watch. |
