I've only been watching GL for about 12 years & I'm confused about a couple of things. Who are Philip's real parents? Isn't Raines on the tombstone? Who is Maureen Bauer? And why has Lillian never been a bride? That was mentioned on todays episode. Who was Beth's father?

Justin and Jackie Marler are Phillips biological parents.He was adopted by the Spauldings.Maureen Bauer was Ed Bauers wife,Rick & Michelle Bauers Mother.Ed had an affair with Lillian who was Maureens best friend.When she found out about it she drove off a snow covered cliff and was killed.That was Maureen Bauers gravestone Lillian was at on todays show.

Nah, he's not Beth's father. Ed and Lillian just had an affair some years back.

Bradley Raines was Beth's father, he was abusive to
Beth as a teenager. That was how she became one of the four muskteers. when they all beame friends in high school. If remember right, he was killed, But don't remember by who, I think it might have been Lillian, protecting
Beth.

Bradley was actually Beth's stepfather. Her biological father was never part of the show. When the Raines' were first introduced in 1983, I think it was stated at some point that Lillian was a widow prior to her marriage to Bradley. I think that Beth's bio dad died when she was very young. Bradley died off-screen @ 2000 when Beth went to Mexico to get her quickie divorce from Edmund and ended up getting kidnapped and washed away in a cave, and later emerged as Lorelei. Before she left for Mexico, she found out about Bradley's death and that he had willed her a silver mine, no doubt a feeble attempt to assuage his guilt and somehow atone for the heinous rape and traumatization of his stepdaughter. I need some help. Have been watching GL for many many years but missed some story lines over the past few years. How did Ross MArler die? Who is Daisy and why does she call Reva Grandma? What happened to Coop? Where are Harley and Gus? And why is Rafe a Spaulding? Who was Blakes Dad? They mentioned him when Holly showed up for the final shows.

Do you know what happened to Marah? I had forgotten about Dylan. Thanks for the info. Why did Phillip leave for so long?

Marah is a fashion designer in Paris. Why she didnt come back when her mother had cancer, had a baby, lost her husband and reunited with Josh, we'll never know.

Alan had Phillip committed of sorts, making him think he's crazy so he wouldn't take over Spaulding. Ultimately Alan had Phillip sent away to an island or mountain or something. That's where Phillip apparently picked up this lifethreatening infection. Alan then felt guilty and realized he loved his son, yada yada yada and miracle of miracles, Alan was a match for bone marrow.

I don't know much about the Edmund story line. I see he was married to Beth but what happened after that? What was with Shayne and his daughter Lara? And then why was he wanting to get Reva and all the children? I know that Jeffery was some sort of secret agent. Was he after Edmund?
