I was very sorry to read this in the previews for next week.I knew that Josh and Reva would not end up together.But I didn't think they would send Josh packing out of Springfield.That is going to be sad.

That makes NO sense! Josh would not leave SF after he found out he is a first time Grandpa! If this is true I am going to be so pissed!

I have heard he is leaving Sf b/c Jeffery comes back. But I really doubt that. Mabye he will go and see Cassie.

I can see why they might take Joshua's character out of Springfield.He would be heartbroken at realizing that Reva has reunited with Jeffrey and that they truly love one another.I think he has always held out hope that Reva would come back to him oneday.Just as many loyal fans did.But Jeffrey's return would finalize things in a new way.He might feel he cannot start over as long as he is close to Reva.

On the other hand even though the show is ending I hate to see Josh leaving Springfield.His ties and new grandchild are there.As long as he is close to Reva they could somehow still end up together and I'd like to see that left as an open ended possibility.He made me really angry when he carried on with Cassie.That was just sleazy.I know it's over.Just my two cents.

I can't believe that this is how EW & Co. are ending a television icon of almost eight decades-by throwing away a character that has been a Springfield institution for almost three?? Huh? Ok, so "Reffrey" triumphs in the end. Does that mean our last image has to be Josh leaving his home where he has loved, lost, risen, fallen, died emotionally and been reborn...especially since he could play doting grandfather now. It just doesn't make sense. Yes, it's torture for him to stay with his love for Reva now unrequited; I get it. But in these last few weeks he seemed to be re-signed to the fact that it's not going to happen and keeping a safe emotional distance from Reva and the emotional whirlwind. Looks like he is finding contentment with being amicable exes and co-grandparenting. To have him come to some sort of an "epiphany" out of nowhere this last week and just decide he can't stay and go on living in the same town after everything he's gained in the last few weeks is just ludicrous. It's just another example of a sloppily written attempt to wrap up this s/l. Mind-boggling!

It's because the writers just can't seem to get it right! They should have recruited some of the loyal fans to have helped them come to a RIGHT ENDING for this wonderful show. ( IF IT HAD TO HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE)

I tried to avoid the two spoilers telling us Josh is leaving town, but, Boo Hoo, this is one time the writers didn't get it right. Or should I say so many times they got it wrong, that is one of the reasons we lost the light! Josh and Reva together would have made the perfect happy ending! Everyone else gets to be happy, Billy and Vanessa, Buzz and Lillian, N & O ?, Daisy and James, Doris and Ashley, Shayne and Henry, etc ,but, not Jeva!! Ugh, ugh, ugh

UGH!UGH!UGH! Well, it even seems that TPTB are trying to give ole ALAN SPAULDING(Mr. Evil incarnate) a happy ending also. But they can't put their most popular awesome supercouple back together and give the fans what they want. I just keep praying for the so called 'twist' that we've been hearing about to put them back together for good. I have never prayed so hard for one of the characters to have been in a coma for the last several years and just to have been dreaming so REVA & JOSH can be put back together. Even if it's REVA that is in the coma(from when she drove off the bridge). I'd also accept king Richard being in a coma from when he died, or Tammy, or Maureen. Just DON'T let JOSH leave town or REVA & JOSH NOT get back together. To, me they DEFINE the term "SUPERCOUPLE" and I'm NOT the only one who thinks this way. I still remember when MIKE & LESLIE were on this show(watched as a little girl w/my mom) Please don't have some HORRIFIC ending where the reason that JOSH & REVA don't get back together has to do with ANNIE DUTTON having a sex change or something and she is now JEFFERY. JUST put REVA & JOSH together where they belong. ALWAYS, BUD! ALWAYS, REVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
