Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Today is almost about Henry's first birthday. Shane and Marina are at the Mallet home putting up decorations and getting ready for the party. Shayne is a happy and contented man. Reva and Josh got him the same present, and makes Reva mad and She goes out to buy a different present for their Grandson. Alan, is upset that Phillip won't let him save his life. He goes to the cemetary and has a father to son talk with the Memorial stone for Phillip. This is an emotional scene and I won't tell too much about it. It tugs at your heartstrings and made me cry! Lo and behold Phillip is sitting behind the stone and has heard everything Alan has said. He emerges from behind the stone and tells Alan, "No" again. He relents and says "Yes" to Alan. Alan is a happy father. Alan will save Phillip's life, she said hopefully! Now, for the best part, Mallet runs into Dinah in Germany, what a surprise for all of us. He tells her he feels everyone is in their right place and everything is turning out alright now. He tells her he and Marina are over! I, for one can't be more happier. I never liked these two as a couple. OMO! Oh, one more thing, Mallet called home to wish Henry a Happy Birthday, and Marina hangs up on him after he talks to Henry. What a witch! This was more of a setup day for things to come. Tomorrow really looks good. We see Jon going back home, Edmond, being his evil self, and this should be a good episode. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the preview Merrymary. For some reason, I just can't keep enough kleenex in the house anymore. I cry when I read your preview and then I cry more when I watch the episode. RR/Alan and GA/Phillip are doing a wonderful job with this sl. But, then again, so are all of the actors. I hope that Alan doesn't die. After watching GL all of these years, I would like to see him and Phillip have a dad/son relationship. I am looking forward to Lizzie seeing Sarah also.

Today's episode was so good. I loved the scene with Phillip and Allen. It made me cry. Dinah and Mallet's scene's was so good! But why and the hell would they end the show with Mallet going Dinah? What does that mean? And then they arn't going to show them tomorrow? Now that just sucks! I was hoping he would say Dinah Springfield is your place and not mine. Go be with Shayne. I mean but no!
