I think they should have both Alan and James same Philip.
They say the risk is to much bone marrow has to be taken from the donor. It wouldn't be too much if it was takin from two people. James is a perfect match and Alan is a match. So both could give give some and all three live and change the history of the spaulding men.

I actually think that Alan will save Phillip and James will save Alan. If James is a match to Phillip, then wouldn't make sense that he's a match to Alan too?

FYI - No, it wouldn't. Alan and Phillip match only by coincidence since Alan is not Phillip's biological father. Dr. Justin Marler is Phillip's real father. I'm hoping James will be the one to save his father so nothing will happen to Alan.

I actually considered using both James and Alan also, seems to make Soap Logic. Also what ever happened to Justin? And the rest of that branch of the Marler tree.
