I cannot believe that they are taking off alot of the soap operas off the air. If they are wanting to cut down on expenses on the networks why don't they do like they did in the 70's and put the game shows on in the mornings and get rid of some of the talk shows that they have on then and still keep the soap operas. I know I am not the only one who enjoys watching As the World Turns and Guiding Light. I also feel sorry for all the actors and the people behind the cameras who are going to be losing their jobs. Just keep the soap operas and maybe get rid of some of the talk shows that they have on.

Seems like people in general are losing interest in the drama dept; even in prime time. Even the ratings for shows like Desperate Housewives seem to be falling fast. I can't believe that the reality shows are the most popular now.

I know my radio is not what you want me to hear. This sounds a lot better. Ocassionally..... And let me be the first to say. This wasn't good afternoon without Guiding Light whose farewell episodes airs September 18th on CBS. A very familiar loss for the community such as port charles, salem, pine valley, los angeles and genoa city when springfield residents is bidding loyal audience and me a sad farewell. But a sad farewell was not how much we cry. On Janurary 25, 1937, GL premiered on NBC Radio tell where we learn about this during every proctor & gamble commercial. Whne announcer Howard Reig in 1937 read the line about Irna Phillips' new drama, fans in the late 30s were thrilled to this radio on several nbc radio stations. Later in 1947, it moved to CBS Radio after the news went on and then, The Bauers, The Coopers, The Spauldings and The Thorpes became big character better than singing off Ma Pickford and this radio program A Brighter Day before translate to tv on June 30,1952. Now some story had a 15-minute drama about Reverend Dr. John Ruthledge whose life was based on the personality of Warren Moyer a character you almost never go the houses of The Bauer and The Coopers until you grew up in 1960. Well, now in the 50s and 60s, 15-minute drama went on before cartoons and short subjects take over to give you a glimps of what''s to come everyday. Toes of Harley Cooper, the love of Elana and Vanessa, the sweet life of Mallet and Marina Cooper, Officer Frank and Agent Gus. Of all the character I'm gonna you very soon will change GL forever with new characters from MyNetworkTV and many others. Right Now they're finising off ten of the last guiding light stories. today is a boring day no soaps just some boring tennis game i then turns off my TV and gone back to bed like we really care about some tennis game i got one thing to say give me back my soaps this a boring day today nothing good on TV at all I guess this is how its going to be when the soaps are gone a real boring day from here on in;(

I know today was really boring. I mean it is going to be a sad day when GL ends. It just all really sucks!

Actress Beth Ehlers, the girl with barefeet crapped her feet on the couch as Harley Cooper. Before was Frankie on 'All My Children', ten toes show how this famale springfield police officer who of course killed next in a car accident and died at aged 39 met with frank cooper on Guiding Light whose series will leave us on september 18th. Here's the story when Beth Ehlers made her debut on cbs daytime, some looks will tell you where you had a pair of shoes and socks. Well her shoes walk to cbs daytime and just to make sure that it's more than you can ever rely on her. You know how you been through and there you find a girl with sexy legs. Playing as Officer Harley cooper, she met lots of boys and three marriages. Frank "Buzz" Cooper, Alan Michael Spaulding, Mallet Cooper and Gus Atioro. When Harley said about him almost died in the war, Buzz was alive. Alan Michael in 1991 had to take Harley's shoes and socks off to see ten toes again like we saw on GL 19 years ago. Now after the divorce, Alan whose a good friend had to follow harley in court. Harley was suspended and then continuing with her next assignment 5 months later. She was back and now this girl has another one by the name of Gus Aitoro and the hardest times of their lives. First Harley saw Vanessa in te barnyard and grab her hair by her hands and now this by staying away from gus vanessa kept her cool and then in bed with red toe nails, gus and harley are in the bunk bed kissing and when it was the stick that break, they called it quit. which comes down to tragic death of Gus. As vanessa says she missed him after all these years between two sisters and after that motorcycle accident. Vanessa is hurt before and that's when Harley had Mallet. When Frank Cooper find him, he was arrested for hurtin' Marina. Now Marina found out that harley got mallet that marina doesn't mind. Now harley is heading home before the big celebration. Then, struck by a car. She will die before this episode enters the funeral service and then, the marriage of frank and marina. That is before the last GL two weeks from friday at 3pm. the times are changing for sure even in the movie business i just heard on the news today that the movies studio are going to limit the movies that there releasing because the bank aren't able back the production of the movies and there not lending out the money to the studio who make them and the movies business will sees less movies coming out from the Hollywood studio, in the near future, things are changing in Hollywood for sure this is the news that i had heard yesterday not to compare the soap actor with them but news tom curies got let go yesterday from his studio because they couldn't afford to keep him on so he was let go. and they also had ax Marie Osmond talk show because the network couldn't afford the production cost of it right now that it would be too expenses for the network to do and that it wouldn't be a good time now to do it. so the network ax it i heard it yesterday this is just entertainment news here,im telling you plus alot of the Hollywood studio are laiding off some of there employee Disney studio in Burbank is one of them

It is so sad what the economy is coming to. Taking our beloved show off the air. That is really sad!

after yesterday being an boring day with no soap on and nothing good on tv period, all day today my soaps are back and im happy i was going through soap withdraw yesterday with out my soaps.and who want to watch a boring tennis game all day. i rather have my soaps

60 Minutes this Sunday has the GL show. It's a little late in the game to start now looking for ways to keep the show going. This should have happened months ago, like April when they cancelled it. The cast has already had their goodbye party, filmed their last show and many have already left NYC.

guiding light is on tvland schedule to air on there network on may 31 2010 next year. that great news, it will be airing at 2,00 to 3,00 on tvland network.
