Bizziefan:I believe that Alan did love Jackie Marler who is Phillips biological Mother.Like most of his relationships it eventually went pear shaped.LOL.But he loved her just as he has always loved Phillip.

When I heard Jonathan tell Jeffrey how much he missed Sarah and him being away from her so long was hard on him I said to myself how do you think Lizzie felt thinking she was dead! What a self centered arse!! He did make me happy @ the end when he said he was taking her to see her mom! I can't wait!! I also can't wait for O to tell N to leave her alone lets hope she stays that way!!

I, too want Nat nd O to end now. Nat keeps coming around the big O, and hopefully O sees that this relationship will not work. This will be one happy ending for me. Poor, poor whiny Nat, give me a break!

Poor, poor whiny Nat, give me a break! If it can even be defined as that!! Did they ever even do more than kiss? I don't remember anything else!! Nat just wants Gus and eventualy she will relize that while his heart may beat inside Olivia's chest, that is all that is really ever going to be between them!!(IMO)

Yesterday was very weepy. And I guess it will only get worse as we go along! I don't know who will donate the marrow, I am guessing bratty James will be redeemed and be the one. Donating bone marrow is not too awful but as my wonderful Ed said, they will have to take so much that it will be dangerous for the donor too. So if they both, Alan & James, match my guess is the younger would be better. I think Nat & O do love each other and will be together. I just wish Nat would guit turning up like a lost puppy at O's heels.

I totally agree with it being a tearjerker. The acting Grant Aleksander did was unbelievable. He really made you feel he was telling the truth about dying. It makes me so sad to think we won't be seeing these people again after the 18th.

Merry...lol...I logged on to begin a topic on How Great Wednesday's show was....you beat me to it. It was absolutely WONDERFUL. It show-cased the marvelous actors and actresses that make up GL. I have been roaming the channels trying to come up with a soap to watch after the LIGHT goes out. I have decided I can't match it so I will change from soaps to Animal Planet. There is a good cast of characters on APL. You know, I just don't get it. GL has a cast that is sooooooo superior to any other soap. I cannot figure out why it was necessary to cancel the "LIGHT" and I can't understand why GL's ratings never reflected THE BEST SOAP ON TV. Even with some poor writing and wobbly sidelines, it still beat the other soaps on the air. The other soaps are boring and slow, slow, slow. Plus the acting is way beneath GL's. Well, I sincerely hope all the GL FANS find something satisfactory to replace or substitute for GL. The memories will be sweet and that's all we are left with. Good luck everyone. Sending you all kind thoughts and wishes for the future. I will sincerely miss reading your posts and connecting with your souls.

Wednesday a tearjerker???? I've been crying almost every evening when I play back the days tape. After over 30 years of watching, I am just dreading the end. I can only think that the best part of these episodes is that all the storylines are being wrapped up, and the last weeks have been so much more like an epic tale. It's like watching a merry-go-round come to a stop.

I am sitting here on Saturday morning watching the whole week of dvr'd episodes.. and bawling. Everytime I see Josh and Reva... I bawl a little more knowing that in 2 more weeks, I won't see them at all. A part of my family is dying and there is nothing I can do about it. 30 years of watching the people of Springfield will end and there is NOTHING that can replace it. There is no other soap that I have attached myself to like this one. I've pretty much quit watching ATWT and B&B because I just can't relate. I still watch Y & R because they do give a little mystery from time to time, but Guiding Light was my family. I hurt when they hurt and laughed when they laughed. I connected with Reva.... not because I wanted to be the "$l*t of Springfield" but because she was down to earth and when she loved someone, she loved them with her whole body and soul and would lay down her life for them. Josh is her soulmate.. he knows her inside and out. I could go on and on about Reva and Josh and how Guiding Light is part of my family... but those of you know love the show like I do have that same connection in your own way. I've made it to Thursday's episode and have shed more tears in the last few hours than I have in a very long time. I'm sure the next two weeks will not be any different.
