I think in the near future B & B will go to an hour. ATWT's future is still up for grabs.

Incidentally, while we are on the subject of The Bold and The Beautiful, I have to vent a little. Lots of posters (mostly unhappy GL fans and I am one of those) have really been blasting BB's win for best drama. I don't believe these posters really watched the show all year. Bold and The Beautiful had a fantastic year. Even tho they are stuck in the rut of Ridge and Brooke and Taylor, others did shine. The storyline of Storm's death and his sister Katie receiving his heart were some of the best scenes done. The entire industry felt like B & B was the winner and so did I.
It's o.k. to vent and miss our show, but to shoot down B & B because they won and GL was cancelled is just sour grapes. Give the show a chance, it is really good, the writing is good, and the actors are just as good as any on television today. Storm's death was what won them the Emmy.

I have tried to watch B&B many times, and many times I find it stupid and crappy. That is my opinion on it. It is not sour grapes, it is my taste.

Kudos to the fans of B&B, congrats on thier win. As for me, I think it was absurd.

I agree it was definitely absurd that b&b won, I have watched the show many times, it gets so awful I have to stop, and no matter how many times i try to give it another chance, it doesn't last, everybody on the show is related to each other somehow lol,honestly the only two people worth watching on the show are thorn and felicia.everybody else should just scatter to the mountains and enjoy their big happy incest family

I stopped watching B&B when Brooke's two children (Rick and Bridgett) fathered/delivered by Ridge turned out to have been fathered by Ridge's "Dad", Eric...

Later, it is said Rick and Bridgett are now Ridge's brother and sister; even later to be said Eric was not Ridge's biological father. Bridgett falls for Ridge - her once dad/step-dad/brother/half-brother...

Ridge had 3 children with wife, ex-wife Taylor - two daughters and a son. Ridge's son/step-son/brother/step-brother...Rick had an affair with his step-mother/step or half sister-in-law, Taylor, and her two daughters... What incest!

Ridge is one stupid man. Why would he want Brooke - someone who has married and had two children by the man you called "Dad" and was once married to your brother? Brooke is scum; yet Ridge can't seem to leave her alone. I am not a B&B fan; however I do and will continue to watch ATWT until it ends.

They don't even show B&B here until midnight!!! That kinda says it all for the folks around here. We just don't really care for it. although with that said many may be recording it watching at a normal hour so who know. but for me I don't like it. they show previews of it during the time time and I feel like I know whats going on with the whole show just with that.....

make the dull and boring an hour forget it the only time that i watch it when sally was on it shes was a character and
Betty white was on it others wise i don't watch it sally was good and so was Betty white, but i don't think they should had gotten the Emmy award, what they should had gotten was the ax long time ago

B&B did have some entertaining stories this year but the redundancy of the Brooke and Ridge story is just way, way too much. They do have some good actors also...KKL and SF are always excellant. Save me from RM though.
Since I don't watch the other 2 soaps that were up I can't really say if B&B was the better of the 3.
I felt bad that B&B didn't get their moment anymore than GL got theirs. The whole thing was a sham, rushed and unsatisfying. No sour grapes here just sick of the same sl repeated again and again. I can write that. (If I was writing I would still have Storm alive )

I watch B&B at times.I can't stand Taylor,she is the reason I never watch all that much But for it to go to an hour.Oh me,I sure hope not

I thought when they brought Don Diamant on board they were going to try to expand the deas a littl, and maybe they are, but doesn't look promising so far.
I have to agree about Taylor. I liked her years ago but now she is an irritant. She's a beautiful woman and I would like to see her have at least a couple of "laugh lines". She was once a natural beauty, she is not growing older gracefully. More like a cartoon. Sorry, I guess that was mean, but the unmovable face is going too far.

worse soap opera on TV. I had watched it since it started by quit two months ago and wish it was the one going off the air. I can't imagine expanding it to an hour. It is boring enough in l/2 hr. Same storylines every week, even when they inject new characters they resort to the same storylines. Terrible show.

they should had ax that one not guiding light.keep the light and get rid of the dull and boring im sick of brook and ridge the guy is a joke she is better off without him and brook is crazy,to want to take the guy back or to want him in
