Jonathon going to ATWT!!

He turns on the radio and an announcement says that a man who committed murder has escaped from prison. Holden tells the man if he shows remorse and turns himself in, things will work out. The man agrees to stop in a few towns to get aspirin and a bandage for his injured shoulder. Holden notices that the man has fallen asleep. Holden picks up his cell, but the man wakes up and orders Holden to pull over. They get out of the car and Holden begs for his life. The man orders him to give him his clothes. Holden doesn't want to part with his wedding ring and realizes the man is going to shoot him as soon as they get into the next town. When they get back in the car, Holden heads towards a cliff and drives right over the edge. The car explodes as it hits the ground! He's not dead

You people make me laugh they give you a bone and all is forgiven? If Jonathon is going to ATWT that's a good thing but they are going to cancel it too. I hate CBS when the light goes out I will no longer watch that channel. I will find all my favorite shows on another network. Global has ATWT and Y&R just at different times. B&B is also on CTV. Global is bringing back Melrose Place and 90210 they are a great network. it just goes to show how out of touch CBS is they are canceling soaps when other networks are bringing them back. |

What possible sense does it make to stop watching other shows that you have watched for years just because the same network dropped a show, Guiding Light in this case? I have watched Y&R and B&B for years and will not punish myself because CBS had to drop GL.........all soaps on all channels may be dropped someday....then what? Shows go off the air all the time, makes me sad but it is just a fact of life....no one was more sad than me when Friends went off the air..........cried for days but I survived..did not give up tv because of it.... |

I agree about not watching. What sense does it make to punish other soaps because one got canceled? I DVR the CBS soap lineup. If we stop watching then their ratings drop and they may cancel sooner rather than later. Sounds like cutting off my nose to spite my face! |

He needs to go back to AMC and reprise his role as Jonathan Lavery!! Maybe someone will finally stand up to Ryass and put him in his place!! |

I really dont think that a few dozen people are going to hurt them or even make them bat an eye... they wont even notice. What dose it even matter. Its ALL just business

That is true it will not make any difference to them whether I watch CBS or not. If it made a difference to them they would not have canceled G&L you say just a business decision well it's a bad decision. they had bragging rights the longest running soap. they canceled Dallas another bad decision they can't seem to find anything to stick in that time slot. so goodbye CBS. GLOBAL carries Y&R (its a CDN network). I can take ATWT or leave it I can't stand Henry. If they had to cancel something it should have been ATWT. As for the B&B Brooke is such a S*** she slept with her father-in-law all her brothers-in-law and both of her daughters husbands. She keeps flip flopping back to Ridge boring. but I am sure most of you young ones will watch big deal and forget G&L ever existed. G&L has a special place in my heart it spans 4 generations for my family I watched it with my Grandmother. someone said CBS was the top network because it had CSI well I haven't watched CSI since Grisom left. too many CSI shows, game shows and talk shows. |

Bigtimesoapfan, you must have Tom confused with someone else. He never played on AMC. Jonathan Lavery was played by Jeff Branson (Shayne on GL). He couldn't reprise a role he never played to start with. And no where has it been announced that ATWT has been cancelled. For some reason, a poster on this board keeps saying that, but it isn't so, at least not yet! I suspect that Austin was let go to be able to pay Tom to come on the show. |

If so could you please find out what is true and what is not about when and if they are going off the air? I know that they signed a year contract in April 09 and it was said at that time whether they got renewed again in 2010 depended on how good the ratings were for that year....I read that several times and actually on the CBS site so took it to be true. But you should be able to find out for us and that way all the stories that are floating around could be put to rest....thanks for your help.. |
