Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I think on one of the spoilers I read that there may be a "cure" for Phillip (maybe it was a bone marrow transplant?), but that it would be life threatening for someone else. Then, I read today that Alan wants to save his son. Isn't Phillip really Justin Marler's (I think that was his name) son? I thought that came out years ago. If that is the case, Alan wouldn't have the DNA to save Phillip anyway, unless I guess it could go strictly by blood type? Can someone clear any of this up?

Kaf915:Yes,Phillip is the biological son of Justin and Jackie Marler.Adopted by the Spauldings.Not sure but I think bone marrow transplants rely on a persons blood type that matches.I think Alan will come threw as a hero for Phillip to atone for his sins of the past.

Thank you, Terror. Yes, after I posted that, I gave myself a quick smack in the forehead because I realized the blood type was the key as soon as I hit the button! I agree I think he will come through, and it certainly would be great if he wasn't his "smug" self about it, but that's too much to hope for!

I had read it was going to be Rick that saved Philips life but I to think it will be Alan. The show will end with Alan being a hero , go figure!!!

I'm sure it will be Philip's dumb son who saves the day. I'd bet my last dollar on it. What a pathetic excuse for a son he is. I'd slap his head all over the place.
