>( WTF - we got 20 seconds at the end of the broadcast and No ONE got to speak - is that how they treat a show that's been on for 72 years??

Yeah that was crap! I mean we really didn't even to get see many of the stars up close. I mean 20 seconds in front of everybody really isn't a great farwell to me I don't think!I mean the video clip was good but still. At least have Gina talk or something!

I agree WTF!!!!!! That was not worth watching why did they even do it if that was all they were going to do. The spent 20 minutes on Seseame Street and 2 minutes on GL. The whole show sucked "The CW Network" kept cuting off the in the middle of the winners speach for a stupid commercial.

The CW network did a terrible job of presenting the awards show. Boo to them!

I agree. I mean the only reason I watched the Emmy's was to see guiding light and they spent like mabye 2 minutes if they were lucky! Very nice goodbye!

The longest running soap deserved more then a few seconds of showing the cast members. Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman should have bee allowed to say something about the show. They should have been able to thank the fans for their long time support.

If you asked me the whole show should have been about GL they should have hosted all skit's should have had a Gl Theme and every actor who play on the show and is on another soap should have been a presenter GL SHOULD HAVE WENT OUT ON A BLAST not the whimper that the CW provided shame shame on all involed in this travesty....Shane winning was the only saving Grace

The show tonight was PATHETIC!
I was so embarrassed to be a daytime fan tonight.
When Jeff Branson won tonight, the idiot presenter said the winner is Shayne Lewis! Learn what the hell to say!

The only bright spot was when CW screwed up AGAIN and started showing the airplanes and rolling credits when B&B won best show! They didn't even get a chance to get out of their seats! It was wonderful!

I was soooooo disappointed. The whole thing was a crock!

BTW: Are they flippin' kidding me? B&B won best drama! That in itself was a sham. B&B has to be the stupidest soap opera of all time. What a waste.

GL deserved way better than what they recieved.

The show rushed evryone, except maybe sesame Street. we could have done without Vanessa's song. I was very disappointed inthe time allotted to GL. It is a disgrace!

I may not agree with B&B's win but it was disgraceful the way that was handled too. They should have at least had a chance to get on stage and say thank you.

I am glad someone picked up the show this year but the speed was way too much!

I so agree with everyone on the pathetic showing of the awards & their so called tribute to gl. I spent most of the show sobbing over the lost of this great soap. What an injustice from cbs & those pitiful writers that destroyed the light it was like it was being sabotage. You're not gonna tell me with the caliber of these actors that they were the reason for the low ratings huh! We all know very well who was the reason. Sad, sad, sad.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one tikced about the lack of coverage on GL a the Emmys. Like others that's the only reason I watched. Then to briefly show the cast was a slap in the face. I feel for the actors. Many of them have spent most of their professinal lives on this show to be treated this way!!!! It's like don't let the door hit you on the way out!!! I am so sad about this ending. It's been a part of my life for 49 years. Good luck to all of the actors in future endeavors!!!
