Quote merrymary: Once again the GL gets shafted! The old clips were fun to see, but, after 72 years of an outstanding soap, we should have at least heard from some of the cast members. I was disappointed that we got to see the cast for only about 20 seconds. IT SUCKED BIGTIME after 72 years you should get more from your fellow actor's than 5 min's of clips and a standing O cut short because of commerical's CW sucked they played up there show's no respect for GL MAY THE LIGHT SHINE ON FOREVER  The positive side is that we had one winner from the show.

soapzealot70 - you didn't miss much. The tribute was a slap in the face. I couldn't even see the individual cast members. CW screwed up ROYALLY on this show. They have nothing to do with daytime tv and shouldn't have been awarded this show. They obviously didn't know what they were doing. They can't even come up with orig. programming.. 90210 Melrose Place? Get Real. |

Well mabye when the comercial some of the ppl from GL were talking. Doubt it though. |

And I mean All my Childern was in like all the awards and what do the GL fans get 3 and only 1 got picked! I mean common. And during that fashion show thing they had every fricken Soap Opera you could find but GL why? I mean at least have Gina or Jeff up there or something! They could have found something from GL for the fashion show. I was disappointed about the whole show in general. The tribute was short and the cast was only shown briefly before a commercial. CW did not do a good job over haul hosting the Emmy this year.

Kim and Robert were awesome looking at the Emmys. I think a lot of times Kim just throws something on and goes, but last night she was just amazing. |

You can check on youtube.I think someone will post a clip of the tribute .It was only like 3 seconds of the cast,and when Betty White showed clips from the past it was short.IMO tribute was a slap in the face to the fans,and the hard working cast.I don't even remember seein' EW.  They should have let the cast say afew words.Some of'em where cryin' I could tell that Lillian~Phillip.and more where hurting so much. But all they got was a standing O !!!!!

Mat317,You are right.CW needs to stay away from daytime.They don't have the first clue in what they are doing

I missed the whole first 45 min. Does anyone know if there is a clip of Jeff's winning or if the whole show might be shown again? |

When it comes downe to it, I am not sure I could be happy with any send off for GL. It could have been the most costly show with fireworks, bells, and whistles, but it is still a goodbye I and all of you, do not want to see. |
