We need a doctor in Springfield to tell Lizzie her weight gain is from pregnancy. How could she tell Josh that she and Bill are trying to start a family when she is already pregnant!!!! Please Dr. Bauer tell her the rabbit died.

I agree!! It really bugs me. They don't do a good job trying to hide it. Who sits outide there house on a lawn chair with their purse? Come on. There has to be a better way to hide it. Their house is under construction, so maybe some wood??

I think everyone is tired of the bump hiding.....let the chips fall where they may...gettin late in the game now!

I think maybe Lizzie just doesnt know how to dry her clothes and they are all shrinking. To much watermelon maybe

SnowQueen:Thank goodness someone else finally noticed before someone said "Here comes the head!". Good grief!!How ironic is it for the character to be talking about wanting to "get pregnant" when she is so obviously 9 months along already!!!

"Heh Bill.............good news.You wanted a baby and I got started without you.I'm about to give birth........well........ANY day now."

They did the same thing with Natalia's character.They tried to hide her pregnancy with dark,baggy clothes and giant purses.That doesn't work!!We are not idiots.We can SEE she's 9 months pregnant.We cannot just ignore that.It's a bit distracting to say the least.

OK.... Is the character preggers, or is the actress expecting ???

Does it matter?? I can get over the obviously pregnant actresses. Do we really expect them not to have a life? The alternative is to have someone else come in and play their character. I can easily put the actual pregnancy aside. I think it's time to stop covering up. I pay more attention to the coverup and it gets in my way. I appreciate the actors doing their job without hiding anything. Lizzie looks adorable, don't you think?

I am also thinking the writers are setting us up for some amazing happy endings. Keep your options open. Think positive. Always dark before the dawn.

Missing Guiding Light is on my mind everyday. My husband got hooked first when I asked him to tape Dr Phil and he caught a bit of GL. He started watching the whole program and was always telling me what happened every day. I decided to watch myself and Poof! I was hooked, too. We save the time slot and always make it home to see it, or be sure to tape it. Everyone knows not to call us when GL is on. So, watching now brings alot of tears and sadness. We share everyone's disappointment and hope Proctor and Gamble and "Let's Make A Deal" fall flat on their ass.

I agree, they could at least try and hide the bump! They haven't been very good the last few weeks at it, but yesterday they didn't even try. Heck, where is Emma, perhaps she could ask, "gee Lizzie why are you getting fat?" Why they didn't just write in the pregnancy following the weddding I don't know.

I wish the actresses and their babies well.Congrats and I wish you much health and happiness.You are beautiful.

That said I do not understand the timing of the writing at all.It has zero continuity.Which frankly I believe is one of the reasons this classic soap is going goodbye.Natalia was obviously pregnant in real life.Then she has her baby in real life and when she comes back to the show her character is pregnant when she's NOT.Same with Lizzie.They could have written her pregnancy in as an unplanned one with Bill.Then it would have made sense for her to be showing.Instead they choose to have her nine months pregnant in real life and her character WISHING to be.Doesn't make sense.

Carley on As the world turns was pregnant when Natalia was pregnant and they hid it sooo well that I forgot she was even getting bigger and bigger..... you NEVER and I mean NEVER saw her baby bump. She left one week or so after Natalia left so they were very close together with the due dates.Just goes to show you the difference in camera work....Carley was almost always shot from the waist up or from the side or with a coat on ...it goes on and on....and it can be done if you give a crap that is. GL does not at this point and it shows.

With all the garbage going on, THIS is what's bothering you, lol. Obviously shes pregnant in real life, and they decided not to incorporate it into the show. Why bother even hiding it. The big purses and vases of flowers look more ridiculous. Good luck to her, hope she has a great pregnancy, and a nice big healthy bouncing baby. Maybe thats what all soaps need to do, just bypass it, like its not happening. Viewers will adjust, we've had to adjust to much worse than belly hiding, thats for sure.

When Nat was for real preggo they didn't do a good job hiding her either. Carly on the ATWT on the other hand. I didn't know she was preggo in real life tell she went to "rehab" on the show and I read on here she was really having a baby!
