Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am sure that the show has finished taping since they are about a month to a few weeks ahead BUT....does anyone know what date is to be the last show date??? AND with such a long standing show on the air, you'd think there would be more PR on the ending, where the stars will be going after etc. Does anyone have any insight on this? If anyone knows if the stars will be on talk shows about the ending or other morning news shows, please post so I can watch. thanks.

thanks Mamarock...I am sure the tv time table would be the same. I am from Missouri and I too will have a longer afternoon to get some housework done I guess NOW instead of looking forward to the LIGHT everyday.

Housework beats watching Let's Make a Deal...and I hate housework!!!!!

In my state, the last air date is September 21, 2009.

I don't think I'll be doing housework, but I know I will not be watching a game show.

mjma, 60 Minutes has a segment on GL September 13.

Gl and Wt, the Sept. 21st date came out in an article that was later proved to be incorrect. The last air date of GL is on Sept. 18th, a Friday, so we have 2 more days this week, and three weeks (15 episodes) left of our show. A total of 17 more shows.

How badly do you want the Guiding Light to stay on the air?
the last air date for us is 9/18/09 but if we want it to go back on the air we have one choise hit them in the MONEY pockets their are 52 advertisers I can name all of them if you need me to do so and 9 ads for CBS on there shows I have a lot of time on my hands. I started a campane and started to email all of the advertisers on the show my family is with me on this there are 300 of us and with all of them and there friends we amount to 7000 we are sending walmart, general mills. merck, cbs, colgate, gerber baby foods, friskie cat foods, and all of the other advertisers. twitters, blogs and emails and we will ban their products!
THATS what you can do. get to work and do it MONEY MONEY thats the bottom line. we have until 09/13/09 to get this done. stop crying and get her done!!! and get our family back to work all of them the whole crew. WE are money and thats all they understand.

There are only 15 episodes left because the show is being preempted on 9/7 and 9/11 for the U.S. Open.
