Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I just want to say how truely sad I am at GL coming to an end and I will miss this show a great deal.

Does anyone know what any of the actors are doing after GL?
Are any of them going to other soaps Or are any of their characters moving to a different soap? Thanks for any info.

I like this show alot and for it to be on the air for so long I have no idea why they are ending it.But for the question at hand were is everone going after it ends well some of the acters and actreses have already moved on Henry Copper went to Young and the restless and I think couple of other characters have moved on to other shows I just don't no what.Maybe some good can come out of the show ending now they can make Bold and the Beutyiful to an hour long show 15min of show in a day is not alot they should step it up.Thanks

you have to be kidding how many times can Ridge flip flop between Brook and Taylor they need some new story lines and new blood. the Jackie/Owen story is just dumb. if any show had to go it should have been B&B its boring and so predicable.

That leaves James and Remy for me, and I am happy with that..Guildinglight... if you get sick of Shayne or Jon, just sent them my way.....

I am also sad. My mother watched Search for Tomorrow and GL in the 50's when they were only 15 minutes long and live. I was in diapers. GL was getting its old spark back, and I wish someone would have picked it up, like soapnet or lifetime. CBS picked up Medium from NBC... Even a spinoff would be good, with Reva, Buzz and the Spaldings going to another show. I guess it's too late now, but I will truly miss these people. Especially the coopers. Harley and Gus are on another network, but I can't get into it. Mallet leaving was a tearjerker. Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan) is going to be a huge name some day. Also, I heard the last day would be Sept. 18 but Dr. Oz is already replacing them on the 14 on my local station. Will I miss the last episodes?

there sure not tieing up the loose ends of guiding light or bringing things to and end there leaving a lot of things open like the edmund and Jeffrey is still open Reva finding out that hers husband isn't dead and if he will becoming home to Reva. and there is like there is new storylives developing i would like to sees where this will go with buzz and Cyrus as buzz son go, its seems like there starting new things and not bringing it to an end,
