Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I am saddened by GL being taken off the air as I have
watched since 1960. I feel for the actors that have made this show home for so many years. Someone said in another post that the story lines were better now than they have been lately. Too bad it took cancelling to get the old soap stories back. It will definitely be hard to say goodbye on Sept. 18th.

Thanks Catwoman, it's been fun posting (for the most part anyway) and I plan to continue as this board will stay alive as long as we fans want it to continue and for me, than's endless. There is plenty to chat about, the show, the actors, what's happening in their lives, what's going on in ours, etc.
I leave next Thursday to go to L.A. for the Y & R and B & B fan club events and of course, to see my favorite boy, John Driscoll. I am going out a day early just so I can spend some time with him and his girlfriend and some of the GL actors who are staying with him (for the Emmys). I'm so excited to see him again, it's been over 3 months and I'm in Driscoll withdrawal! If he isn't taping that day, he's picking me up at the airport. Will report in when I return for those who care.

Hey there PP tell John Driscoll I am enjoying him in his new role on Y & R, but really miss him as Coop on GL.He is such a cutey...love the dimples!!!
