Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I was so surprised that there were not any posts about today's show - I thought it was so good. Good to see Danny & Michelle and good to see a BBQue that was close, if not accurate, to the old Bauer BBQue's.

Well, I enjoyed the show for a change. It was far, far from the old GL, but it was enjoyable. I especially liked the part where Phillip was enjoying himself so much and the part with Phillip, Beth, Mindy and Rick together. I soooo miss the past days of GL and even it's been so bad in recent years and won't ever be the same, I'll miss it terribly when it goes off the air in September. It will be like losing a close, dear friend.

I almost started a post today after I watched GL about today's episode, but I was such a mess. I totally enjoyed the show. I always love the Bauer B.B.Q. It was nice having almost all of Springfield in one place enjoying themselves. It was great having Danny, Michelle, Robbie, and Hope back. I have missed them since the day that they left. Having them back brought back so may good memories. I always enjoy when Rick, Mindy, Phillip, and Beth are together. And I always love when Bill, Lizzie, and Billy are on. I found myself both happy and sad watching today's episode. I laughed when Billy and Alan were doing their scenes. I loved seeing Bill and Lizzie finally together and happy. I loved Danny and Michelle's scenes. I liked how Rick and the kids took the apple pie and went inside and were eating it when Michelle caught them, her and Rick got to share a brother/sister scene talking about their kids and the next generation. I loved Philip's scenes, but I found my self in tears watching them . It is bad enough that Philip is sick, but, when he was talking about it being his last B.B.Q., I realized that not only was it Philip's last B.B.Q., it was my last one too with my GL family. Yes, I have been in denial about GL and hoping that another network would pick it up or that by some miracle GL would not end. After today's episode, I am so afraid that Philip is right and it will be the last Bauer B.B.Q. for all of us. By the end of the episode, I had so lost it, especially with Rick, Philip, Beth, and Mindy's toast and at the end when Beth was in Philip's arms. Oh, such sweet, sweet memories. However, at the same time, I was so proud of Guiding Light. GL is and always will be #1.

Fridays show was good. I enjoyed seeing them bring everyone back together. However, I was very upset about the otalia s/l. I didn't like the way it's going at all. I felt so sorry for Olivia, I wanted to cry with her.

Their was such a hype, but Ed, Michelle and Santos are gone. That wasn't a show. That was cheap. As far as Olit crying. Get a a pill. (JMO)
