Quote Rosie Butterface: Quote SassyFrass: Quote Rosie Butterface: Who the heck has Peyton??? Loved the cookout. I had to laugh when Rick told Mindy she was heavy then the past, I bet she hit him hard for real!! More of that fun back and forth that the cast has. Peyton is Alan and Beth's daughter. She should be about 1 or so now. Although the next time we see her, she may be older..... No, I know who her parents are, but where the heck is she at?? Gotcha.... I think she is in the Spaulding mansion attic where all the other kids "grew up"! |

Quote debbe01: I have watched the Guiding light for the past forty years and today will be my last. Why, when the writters had Reba throw the American Flag down to the ground, on the day the show was recognizing the Forth Of July, was appalling to me and my husband....I have a son who is in the Marine Corp. and fought in Iraq two tours. I am dissipoined in this action, and will never think of Reba or the show as patriotic again. This did nothing to add to the show......... ------------------ Debbe01: I'm sorry that you took this episode to heart in such a negative way....my take was somewhat different...I felt Reva was tearing down the flag colors due to her emotional and traumatic reaction to Jeffrey being away from her...later in the show, as her Father turned up, she was on a ladder busily pinning the flag colors up...it is the writers doing this and apparently they didn't see any harm in this...jdvermeer |

This was just our emotionial Queen taking out her frustration of having her husband missing in action. It was not disrespecting our flag, just the flag's colors. Now, if it was the American flag, I might think the same as the other poster. It was just a decoration for the 4th. She did put back the colors when she cooled down. She wants Jeffrey home, that's all. |

More of that fun back and forth that the cast has. I have been watching again since late Feb/early March, and I have not seen that child Payton once. Do they EVER have her on camera? |

Quote Jetset432: I almost wanted to cry when I was watching the last Bauer Barbeque. I can remember watching this show even as a small child and Ed was the head chief and now it is Rick. I really liked the picture they took of the 4 friends (philip, rick, beth and mindy). I am their same age and I can remember when they ran the show and had their escapades (running to New York City to get away from Beth's step father to name a few). I just can't believe they are taking this show off the air to make room for a game show or two. I will really miss this show. Me too--I felt like I grew up with the 4 musketeers. I really wish it wouldn't end. |
