Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Today was a fun day to watch at the Bauer BBQ. We get to see Michelle and Danny and Mindy. Everyone is happy to see them. Billy and Mindy have a father-daughter talk. Lots of food and games. O is waiting for Nat to arrive. Nat, is having a hard time with this pregnancy news. She is not too eager to get to the party. She runs into Frank at the conv. store, he wants to know what is wrong with her. She has small talk with him. This leads her to the church. Father Ray sees her and she tells him about being pregnant. She asks if she is being punished for loving O. Is it more of a sin to have sex outside of marriage or loving O. What an evil web we weave when we deceive. She is in a deep creek without a paddle! Father Ray says she will have to decide what to do with her life. He advises her to get away and do some heavy thinking. So, I guess this is how JL is explained while see is off on her maternity leave. Nat has some decisions to make now. Phillip has his treatment at the hospital by Lillian. She wants him to tell Beth, he tells her "No", he only wants Lillian to know about his illness. Phillip, tells her this will be his last Bauer BBQ, ours too, and he wants to catch up with his children. This is sad to watch Phillip full of woe. All in all, this was fun to watch,even though Nat is agonizing over this baby. Why, is this happening now? Will the writers have time to end this storyline? Happy 4th of July to all of you!!!

Happy 4th of July to you Merrymary and everyone. Thanks for the update. Today's episode was perfect. I love the Bauer B.B.Q. It was so good to see Danny and Michelle again along with Robbie and Hope. I waited almost 4 years for this return. I had Danny and Michelle, Bill and Lizzie, Philip and Beth, Rick and Mindy, Billy, and Lillian all in one day. YES!!! The whole time that I watched today's episode, I keep thinking that there are still so many more good stories that could be told on GL and that it is so sad that if something doesn't happen fast those stories will never get told.

Thanks Mary Pretty good show today.I hate to see it coming to a end.

I do NOT remember this Michelle?? I hated Michelle btw just hated her......ughk her character to me was disgusting. I am glad they're bringing back the older characters though! It was good to see Danny, I just wish we would see more of him like in his own SL rather then just an extra face discussing kids with Phillip.
MerryMary: One of my favorite scenes in today's episode was Lillian! She was just an absolute doll trying to take care of Phillip today. She definately went way out of her way to ensure he was surrounded by family at the last BBQ and when she played Janet I about died laughing!!!

DID ANYONE NOTICES THAT RICK TWICE SAID NEXT YEAR ON THE SHOW TODAY WAS THAT A CLUE OR HINT OR SOMETHING WHY DID RICK KEPT SAYING NEXT YEAR ON THE SOAP TODAY

I can't believe my favorite show is going off the air,and CBS continues such a horrid show as The Young & Restless...

Is there a remote possibility that another network may pickup the show?

This is what we all are hopeing for, but, so far no news about another network picking up the show. So, we ae just enjoying the light getting dimmer every day. Who knows, miracles do happen!

Who the heck has Peyton??? Loved the cookout. I had to laugh when Rick told Mindy she was heavy then the past, I bet she hit him hard for real!! More of that fun back and forth that the cast has.

I almost wanted to cry when I was watching the last Bauer Barbeque. I can remember watching this show even as a small child and Ed was the head chief and now it is Rick. I really liked the picture they took of the 4 friends (philip, rick, beth and mindy). I am their same age and I can remember when they ran the show and had their escapades (running to New York City to get away from Beth's step father to name a few). I just can't believe they are taking this show off the air to make room for a game show or two. I will really miss this show.

I have watched the Guiding light for the past forty years and today will be my last. Why, when the writters had Reba throw the American Flag down to the ground, on the day the show was recognizing the Forth Of July, was appalling to me and my husband....I have a son who is in the Marine Corp. and fought in Iraq two tours. I am dissipoined in this action, and will never think of Reba or the show as patriotic again. This did nothing to add to the show.........
