Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Rosie, I'm so with you. If GL has to end, I want it to be something I can always remember. Happiness for the characters that I have loved for many years. Like the way a good book ends leaving you hopeful that the story continues. I guess we will just have to sit back and watch and wait. But I don't want it to end and leave a bad taste in my mouth, and I hope the writers do it justice for all of the loyal fans who have been there thru thick and thin.

I have been reading through this post and I have a few things to say. First, Prettymellow I don’t think it’s right how you seem to like to bash some of the posters. I did make a post that I think I'm going to bring back up again since I have noticed a few things I brought up in my last post. I understand that everyone’s emotions are high seeing how the show is going to be canceled in September and the show wraps up taping in about a month. There are some nights where I just cry thinking about it since the show has been around for my whole life and I grew up watching it! Second, Pelphrey I absolutely enjoy ALL of your posts! I love getting all the inside information from you! Do not listen to all the negative posters! You are the best for posting your information that you have on this board when you could keep everything to yourself! We all should be grateful that we have someone who can tell us what to expect with our show. And lastly, Sassy I enjoy all of your posts as well! Some of them are just hilarious and make me laugh! You really know how to make someone laugh! How about we all just start posting when we have something positive to say? If you have to say something negative just don’t post it at all! Let’s just enjoy the last three months we have of our show!

EM, thanks for the kind words. I just got back on the board and read some other topics and I could not believe what I was reading. Prettymellow and Sassy are going at it like some kind of boxing match. None of that stuff has anything to do with GUIDING LIGHT. We need to focus our posts on the show, not arguing with one another about meaningless junk. I think we are all feeling the pain of losing our beloved show, but getting down and dirty is not accomplishing anything except to get a moderator involved in booting someone off the board. Sassy, don't get drawn into that, please. I enjoy your posts, too and don't want to see you get yourself into trouble. Let that kind of stuff go, if no one responds, who will she have to argue with? When she sticks to the topics of the show, I like to read her. Otherwise, she needs to be avoided. I really believe all of those posts are just to get us all mad at one another and I don't want any of us to play her games. Let it go, and be the bigger person. It takes two, so eliminate yourself and she will be all alone!
