Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

As we all sit and chat about whether Rafe will accept Nat and O, we have to remember when we love someone, we do have to accept the other persons feelings. I am not a fan of O and N, but, unconditionial love accepts the good with the bad. Rafe, will realize this love of his mother for O. If he can't accept it, then he needs to move away and not watch it get any deeper. It is hard for him, because he has learned from his church upbringing, that this is morally offensive to their beliefs. I know this statement will bring on many remarks from the other posters, but, what the hell, this is my personal opinion, and I went for it. I have loved many people that I didn't agree with their
lifestyles, but, I didn't abandon them. We love unconditionally! Good or bad !

I, personally, have not voiced my opinion about the N/O story. But I do believe in unconditional love and I also understand how Rafe is battling with this news about his mom. It goes without saying a son loves his mom and his mom loves him, but going against everything he believed in religously is a tough cross to carry. In time, he may accept it but it is going to take time. I really don't think N/O really love each other as lovers. This is just way out of character for both. But that is my opinion.
