Y&R starting down the same path with Rafe and Adam and good lord.... is everyone stupid on that show.... n o suspicion of Adam... who cleans Victor's house? They haven't found the "bugs"... come on...... |

Quote phyllist: I'll still watch Young and Restless. I may try to get into another soap on another network. At one time I watched As the World Turns, but dropped it some time ago. Does anyone have suggestions for another interesting soap. As far as I'm concerned, though, Guiding Light is irreplaceable. Okay..... now we see why Dinah is leaving.... she is the killer...... I knew it........ what a let down.... I was hoping she and Shayne would be happy together. |

I started watching GH when GL got soooo bad, and I continue to read their daily updates. I guess when ATWT goes off next year, I'll watch AMC's soap on that time schedule. Breaks my heart, GL & ATWT have always been my favorite soaps for a long, long, long time  What do the producers expect when all the soaps go gay and lesbian, people stop watching and viewership is down.... I've even started to stop buying products that are commercialed on the shows........... why couldn't they just leave it alone. |

%( I have tried, but the scenes are so dark. At least GL had a bright set and also did a lot of outside shooting. |

When the light goes out on GL my tv will be dark on CBS I will not watch CBS in that time slot. I do not care what they replace GL with I will not watch. I do not like game shows and talk shows. I will find a soap on another network one where my favorite stars from GL and going. I believe they have let the fans down and my small protest will be to not watch CBS in that time slot or buy P&G products. this is my small protest but if everyone did this small thing they may realize just how betrayed the fans feel. I listed to GL on the radio with my Grandmother and later we watch it on a small black and white tv. this is like loosing a family member. CBS has let the fans down in a big way. |

A lot of viewers are upset at CBS for cancelling GL and plan to boycott the network. I religiously watch GL and Y&R - and will miss GL more than any other Soap ever viewed - this was the most realistic show and the actors and actresses have had such strong characters and have all held up to their personas - I could not stop watching until the next day, unlike Y&R and B&B who chose to portray wishy washy scenes. In my opinion, B&B should have been cancelled - check it out - all the women marry the same man who has not one real love bone in his body. THis would NEVER happen in real life and I stopped watching this show. GL - the only problem I had with this show was Otalia - I liked them as disputing friends - not lovers - it made me SICK to see a holy grounded woman turn into a FREAK - and to think in real life Natalia was getting obese on screen without any attention to it in the storyline was bogus. How nice it would have been, and convincing - that Natalia would have been troubled and overate to deal with her dilemnas , then got prego with Franks baby sooner and they became a real couple - that was the wholesome GL we all knew and loved. I thought Natalia and Olivia could have been a great trio with Frank - 2 women finally fighting over a nice guy. Give Frank a bit more credit, really!? Who was writing this story? OTALIA IS DISGUSTING!!!! |

Quote merrymary: My man Josh might be gone in Sept., but, I will not abandon Victor. These are the only two soaps I watch on a daily basis. Victor will not be abandoned by me. He will have to leave just as Josh is leaving me.  Victor and I have been together since his first day on the Y & R. I agree - the only 2 soaps worth watching were GL and Y&R. All of the other soaps were so off reality it was annoying to watch. I have only one soap left to watch - and maybe then I will loose interest in that one since it isn't worth taping just one soap..... the Adam story is getting dumb... like him as Hope's good son better - you ruined Adam's future on the show.... what's up with the GAY stuff lately? Any more gay couples on - I will tune out - take the gay crap to evening shows or make a new soap just for gay viewers so that we don't have to deal with that insanity - yuck! CBS you REALLY screwed up! |

I stopped watching B & B a while back, but will continue to watch the others. Y & R is my favorite...can't turn my back on it ever, although I don't like some of the s/l's recently. |
