Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

Since Guiding Light is ending ( well we are not really sure) I would love to see Maureen Garrett( Holly) come back to the show. Her and Roger( played by the divine and talented late Michael Zaslow) is what got me hooked on the show in the early 90's. Blake needs her family. I know it's wishful thinking, but I would have liked to have seen the character of Roger Thorpe brought back and him and Holly could remarry. The TPTB missed up big time in the mid 90's when they decided to breakup up roger and holly and marry her off to fletcher. So much time was wasted between that time and MZ's departure from the show, that the couple was never given a chance for a reconcilation. Maureen Garrett was a top notched actress on that show and It's a shame she never one an emmy for all her outstanding performances in the late 70's and 90's? Bring her back GL!!!!

I so agree with you, I loved the Roger & Holly romance and MG was and is a great actress. I saw her a while ago on a commercial (can't remember which one) and she looks as good as she always did. That would be great and Blake could have a reunion with her mother and with Ed when he comes back for the Bauer BBQue!!!

A yeaster year fan and trying to figure out what is going on in this year's soap, but I have been reading the posts and Holly would be a good match with Ed. She and he may have been together all this time.
